The YouTuber who crashed his $200,000 car while live streaming has been banned from a major streaming platform.
Jack Doherty lost control of his McLaren sports car while driving along a rainy highway in Miami, Florida, on October 5.
He smashed it into a metal barrier, totaling the vehicle.

The 20-year-old had been seen moments before seemingly distracted by his phone while behind the wheel.
He had over 185,000 viewers at the time of the crash and shocked people even more when he got out from the wreckage and continued to live stream the incident.
To make matters worse, he also didn’t seem to check on the wellbeing of his friend and fellow passenger Michael, and instead handed him a phone to film while Michael appeared bleeding from the head.

Now, the YouTuber has reportedly been permanently banned from Kick, the streaming platform that he was live on at the time of the crash.
While in a phone call with fellow content creator Aaron - known online as Ac7ionMan - Doherty can be heard saying: “I’m banned on Kick now.”
To which Aaron replies with: “Wait, perma?”
Doherty responds: “Bro yeah, they said it’s a perma.”

Viewers were horrified with the clip of the crash, that has since gone viral on social media, with many taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their reactions.
One user wrote: “Hope you got to jail speeding in the rain on your phone.”
Meanwhile, another user commented: “Texting while driving. You should be in jail. I hope your friend gets out of his NDA and sues you.”

A third said: “Deserved. making your camera man still work with a bloody face is crazy.”
And a fourth person added: “He cared more about his stream than his cameraman.”
Florida, where the incident allegedly took place, has a ban on texting while driving.
As stated by Shaked Law, drivers in the Sunshine State are prohibited from ‘entering multiple numbers, letters or symbols’ into a phone, or wireless communications device, while driving.

On October 6, Doherty took to his X account to reply to criticisms about the incident. While a ‘more detailed response’ is planned for later, the streamer shared that he was ‘grateful’ that Michael and himself were still alive.
He said: “Thank you to all the first responders and everyone who helped us get out of the car.
“This could’ve been so much worse and it’s still a huge learning lesson.”
LADbible Group has contacted Doherty's reps for comment.
