A man ate 10,000 calories every day for 10 days to see what the effects would be and he saw some shocking results.
The YouTuber documented his experiment in a video where he attempted to eat over 10,000 calories for 10 days in a row, adding that ‘this was the craziest food challenge that I've ever attempted to do in my entire life’.
Erik, who is better known online as Erik The Electric, shared the experience with his 4.51 million subscribers.
Vlogging the challenge, Erik started his second day with McDonalds.

Explaining what he was chowing down on, he said: “10 chicken mcnuggets with a medium fries with cajun and sweet chili sauce and a Coke and I also got some more deliciousness brand new soft baked pillsbury cookies and I also got a Reese's crunchy peanut bar.”
Another day, Erik shared: “I got a lot of deliciousness at Taco Bell and I’ve never seen the cinnamon toast crunch remix.”
During his 10 day food challenge, the YouTuber also ate a sharing size of triple chocolate brownies, a chicken sandwich from Burger King, marshmallows, deep dish pizza, cookies, a giant bowl of cheese and more in a bid to fit in 10,000 calories a day.
At one point, he even ate an entire 5,000 calorie cheesecake and complained that he felt like ‘I’m 20 months pregnant right now’.

At the end of his challenge, Erik revealed that he had consumed a whopping total of 104,365 calories over the week and a half.
During his experiment, the YouTuber had gained 14.8 lbs in weight, adding: “Like always, it doesn’t stay that high. That’s mainly because of water, food weight, glycogen, all that different type of stuff and this is what it looked like the day after the challenge was over.”
Erik shared that his weight a day after the challenge had dropped by 6.3 lbs.

A lot of his viewers were shocked by the food challenge, with many taking to the YouTube comment section to share their reactions.
One user wrote: “The mental stamina required to do this challenge (as well as the fitness portion) is INSANE.”
Another said: “This has overpassed the insane limit.”
A third person joked: “His mother didn’t teach him to ‘finish his plate’. No… she taught him to finish the TABLE.”
