Kick star Adin Ross captured the shocking moment his soccer team tryouts at Miami's Tropical Park were shut down on April 10, with Miami PD swarming the scene after gunshots were apparently heard nearby. Ross was supposed to be scouting talent ahead of the upcoming Kings League 2025 event, but things soon took a dramatic turn.
The controversial streamer was holding tryouts for his Miami 7 FC team that he's formed alongside Logan Paul, but as Ross drew a crowd, things took a turn when gunshots were heard.
Posting on X, Drama Alert claims that the event was brought to an abrupt end when gunshots were heard, while there were also unconfirmed reports of a bomb threat in the area.

FaZe Clan’s Nick “Lacy” is said to be one of the first who heard the shots, then noticed police helicopters descend on the area. Lacy went on to reiterate that it was very much real and not a staged incident.
All of this was captured on stream, with a concerned-looking Adin Ross being escorted from the area by his security and the video soon ending. You can see the lights of police cars flashing in the background, and despite the severity of the situation, Ross still managed to engage with the crowd, even saying, "What's up bro?" to one bystander. Lacy carried on with his livestream alongside FaZe Clan creator Marlon, although they also quickly left the scene.

The moment the shots were fired was seemingly caught by Lacy, with people confused about what was going on.
Ross eventually returned to his stream and confirmed there had been shots fired nearby.
Some have accused Ross and the others of faking the incident for likes, with one skeptic writing: "Yet another set up for views. What a sick world we allowed these f*8kers to run around in."
Another added: "Is he engagement farming again?"

Still, later footage from Instagram shows Ross and his cohort getting a police escort through Miami, suggesting there's definitely more to the story. This isn't Ross' first altercation with gunfire, famously gifting Donald Trump a Cybertruck wrapped with the image of his attempted July 2024 assassination.
Most were just glad everyone was safe, with one concerned viewer concluding: "Wow, that sounds intense at Adin's event. Glad everyone is safe from the chaos."
Ross hasn't spoken out about the incident, but with him having to form the Miami 7 by the time the Kings League commences in France on June 1, we imagine it won't be long until he's holding another tryout.
The Kings League is the brainchild of Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos, soccer player Lamine Yamal, and former Spanish defender Gerard Piqué. Miami 7 FC will compete alongside teams from the likes of Spain, France, and Germany, with matches being livestreamed to over 3.3 million Twitch followers.

Of course, the incident has sparked a debate about security surrounding this kind of event, especially when drawing massive crowds and streaming to even bigger ones online.
