The abandoned mine became home for the night to two YouTubers who stayed in the world's deepest Airbnb

Two men spent the night in the deepest Airbnb in the world after documenting their terrifying journey over 1,300 ft below ground.

YouTubers Daz and Will, who are known online as @OffTheH00k, filmed themselves venturing down an abandoned mine to reach their accommodation for the night.

The cabins are located in Snowdonia as part of Go Below’s Deep Sleep experience where they promise that you’ll have “the deepest sleep in the world”.

Filming their journey for YouTube, the pair made their way down an abandoned Victorian slate mine to reach the remote camp.

Talking to the camera, they said: “Wow the scenery was distractingly beautiful surrounded by piles of discarded slate that the miners in Victorian time set aside. It felt like no place on Earth.”

Making their way down the mine proved to be tricky, with them adding: “This is pretty horrendous, holy s***, this is insane.”

As they struggled down the steep stairs, one remarked: “No point did they [Victorians] think two idiots like us would be walking down.

“They did not carve this out of stone so two fat men could come sleep at the bottom and complain about the Wi-Fi connection.”

Viewers were impressed by the duo’s terrifying feat and they took to the YouTube comment section to share their thoughts.

One user wrote: “HOW DID THEY BUILD AN AIRBNB THROUGH ALL OF THAT?!?!! Can you imagine carrying a mattress from the zipline to the absailing!?”

A second said: “This feels like a videogame when there's that random safe spot that's kinda cozy but then once you leave you're in treacherous territory again.”

A third posted: “This is a cross between every underground set horror film, and every creepy Star Wars planet. This could’ve honestly been a level on Jedi: Fallen Order.”

A fourth joked: “I bet the cleaning fee is ridiculous, considering someone has to literally carry your poop out in a bag.”

And a fifth added: “That was so cool! Y’all should try a haunted Airbnb.”

Previously another YouTuber ventured to the world’s loneliest hotel located 15,000 ft high.

Capanna Margherita is found at the summit of a mountain in the Alps, lying near the border between Italy and Switzerland, and it became home for the night to YouTubers Thomas Brag and Ammar Kandil, who uploaded a video of their experience to their channel, @YesTheory.

With the help of guides, the pair trekked up the mountain on skis in a feat which took two days to complete.
