Elon Musk has made another enemy on the internet, and this time, he's rattling the Twitch community. Musk considers himself to be something of a gamer, with biographer Walter Isaacson going as far as calling the world's richest man a 'video game addict'.
Still, some have questioned his skills as a pixel professional thanks to a pretty lackluster Elden Ring build and not quite believing the claims that he's one of the best Diablo 4 players in the world.
Elon Musk's video game saga just took another weird turn, and after ex-partner Grimes came to his defense on the Diablo front, he's now gone to war over Assassins' Creed Shadows.

Ubisoft's long-awaited jaunt to feudal Japan has been caught in a storm of controversy for its depiction of one female protagonist and another being a Black samurai. As the usual calls of the developer going 'woke' circulate, a vocal minority is refusing to play.

That doesn't include Hasan Piker, aka HasaAbi, who shared a sponsored post promoting the stealth adventure. This clearly rattled the ever-anti-woke Mr. Musk, who quickly took to X and referred to the Twitch streamer as a 'fraud'. Replying to himself some nine minutes later, Musk added: “'Sell-out' would be more be more accurate. Objectively, he is promoting a terrible game just for the money."
We'd also like to note this is when the official Assassin's Creed Shadows X account slipped in with: "Is that what the guy playing your Path of Exile 2 account told you?"

This led to an epic ratio of 399K likes compared to Musk's 22K.
An equally vexed HasanAbi was made aware of Musk's comments and reposted saying: "This b*tch literally paid someone to powerlevel his character in poe2 [Path of Exile 2] lmao. wym i’m a fraud? elon i challenge you to a duel in elden ring. i will cook your fat rolling ass."
HasanAbi apparently then chose to block the X owner...which only made things worse.
Musk sniped back with: "Hasan is such a chickensh*t r*tard that he blocked me 🤣🤣."

Throwing down the gauntlet, Piker addressed the controversy and added: "Yeah i blocked you @elonmusk because you bought this website and force everyone to see your dumba** tweets 7k times a day. why do you think i'm afraid of you, come on the stream if youre such a big man!"
Having previously had his own spat with Musk, streamer Asmongold waded into the war and said he'd be happy to arrange a 1v1, then joking that someone would have to check it's actually Musk playing.

HasanAbi even took the feud to his Twitch stream and concluded: "The f**king literal president... The literal current president, the shadow president, is doing call-out posts, calling me a freaking fraud on his website. The f**k? How can you tell me that I’m not a gamer?... He's not the president of gaming, let me tell you."
As well as Piker being a well-known left-leaning streamer who isn't afraid to discuss his politics, others have joked about Musk being hot under the collar because HasanAbi has previously streamed with Grimes.
While Musk has gone quiet for now and hasn't responded to Ubisoft's scorching burn at the time of writing, we doubt it'll be long until this feud gets reignited.
