Take off and landing are the worst parts of flying on a plane. You have to hope both processes are smooth with no rocky movements.
However, passengers on a flight to Lanzarote weren't so lucky.
A video on YouTube shows the terrifying landing attempts from a plane landing on the Lanzarote that must've sent a few stomachs turning.

The footage, recorded from a live webcam, shows the Canaryfly plane arriving at César Manrique airport, Lanzarote from Gran Canaria, attempting to land from the usual seaward side in windy conditions.
The incident happened around 12:50pm.
The recorded footage shows that the plane is fighting to stay stable in the windy conditions.

Once the wheels emerge and the plane nears closer to touchdown, the pilot attempts to straighten the aircraft out, and the landing looks as though it's going to be somewhat a safe one.
However, things take a turn for the worse and the plane essentially bounces heavily numerous times as it struggles to stabilise.
The momentum of the first bounce propels the plane back into the air, followed by an attempt to bring the nose down again.
The next bounce causes the plane to once again propel high into the air, twisting it at a harrowing angle before it returns down low for a final landing attempt.

On yet another bounce off the tarmac, the pilot aborts the landing to regain altitude and circle back for a second landing attempt.
According to Canarian Weekly, the local newspaper, the pilot circled the island and successfully landed the plane around on a second try.
Comments on YouTube have shared a mix of humour and sympathy for the passengers onboard the flight.

One of the comments read: 'Must of been like a rollercoaster for those passengers.'
Whilst another remarked: 'Passengers got free Bungee jump experience’.
Another viewer pointed out: 'Terrible flying. I'm not even a pilot, but I can't believe they tried to get it back on the deck after the big bounce back up 20 ft or so.
'Should have gone around right then, not hit the floor another time before putting on the power.'

This incident joins a few others where things haven't gone according to plan during a flight.
Back in May 2023, the landing gear snapped off a plane after a heaving land on the runway at Luxembourg Airport. Described as a 'significant landing incident', the plane was originally bound for the United States.
