The trend of “raw dogging” flights has just reached a new level and now you can test your endurance before even boarding the plane.
A new “raw dog simulator” has the internet baffled after the game dropped recently.
The game uses eye tracking and creepy animations to put your willpower to the test and see how long you can stare at the back of the seat in front of you for.

If you’re not familiar with “raw dogging” flights, the trend took off on TikTok earlier this summer which sees people endure long haul flights without the help of modern comforts.
This includes things like snacking, watching movies or sleeping but the participant is also not supposed to go to the toilet or drink water.
The challenge is to stay in your seat and stare at the in-flight map or nothing at all until you land.

Now it seems that the craze has turned into a game where you can simulate a flight which you must “raw dog” in order to win.
In the game, you’ll board a “Rawdog Airlines” aircraft, whose tagline is “sit back and endure the flight”.
You’ll pick which flight to take, each with their own journey length and you must stare ahead for the duration of the time.

The simulator has caused a stir on social media with many taking to Reddit to share their thoughts.
One user wrote: “New game just dropped. Preparing for my next flight.”
Another said: “2024: The year being alone with your thoughts officially became a challenge.”
A third posted: “What a stupid trend. Even as far as TikTok trends go, rawdogging flights is a whole new level.”

And a fourth added: “Such a stupid trend. I can understand not staring at a screen, but it’s very important, especially on long flights, to stay well hydrated and move around as much as practical. And the not going to the toilet? That’s just asking to do some serious damage.”
They’re not the only one to have concerns about the potential health risks that could come with “raw dogging” a flight.
One expert has warned against the practice, saying that it could possibly cause fatal damage.

Speaking to the BBC, Dr Gill Jenkins, a GP who also works as a medical escort for an air ambulance, said: “They’re idiots. A digital detox might do you some good, but all the rest of it is against medical advice.
“The whole thing about the risk of long-haul flying is that you’re at risk of dehydration.
“If you’re not moving you’re at risk of deep vein thrombosis, which is compounded by dehydration. Not going to the toilet, that’s a bit stupid. If you need the loo, you need the loo.”
