Elon Musk has been branded a 'monster' by one key Tesla whistleblower, after she claims the company 'forced her to resign' after she pointed out safety faults with cars she was manufacturing.
Tesla have become known for a number of worrying safety faults across recent years, as a number of key recalls orchestrated by the company have pointed out major issues that require amendments, even if they're just on the software side of things.
While many Tesla drivers are facing threats of vandalism at the moment due to Elon Musk's involvement in the current Trump administration, there have been reports of vehicles from the electric car manufacturer driving off rooftops and major crashes after their car's brakes stopping working - although some have given thanks after their Tesla's robust construction saved them from injury.

Tesla employees have reportedly been let go following criticism of the 'founder' and CEO's posts on social media, but it turns out that raising concerns about the safety of the cars you're building also leaves you on the chopping block.

As reported by the Mirror, former Tesla engineer and whistleblower Cristina Balan alleges that she was 'forced to resign' from her role at the company after pointing out a flaw in the cars that she was building.
She said she made the company and Musk aware of a potential fault that would interfere with braking mechanisms within the car, as floor mats situated underneath the pedals were apparently beginning to curl.

Balan has claimed that Musk told employees to notify him if there were any issues, but indicates that "90% of those who did got fired soon after," which was a group she unfortunately joined after raising concerns in 2014.
"They forced me to resign," Balan revealed. "They told me that if I'm not resigning on the spot, they will deport my entire team, because the entire Tesla team, the entire interior team was backing me up. Tesla's plan and the legal department's plan was to convince the entire team and myself to close the investigation, the internal investigation that we opened in the company to fix a serious safety issue."
She has since been locked in a challenging legal battle with the company following her departure, branding Musk "pure evil" and a 'vindictive monster' in the process.

A defamation case was opened by Balan against Tesla in 2019, and the claims within this lawsuit were dismissed until recently when a judge reversed the decision and ruled in her favor.
Now, she believes that the case will effectively return to its original state, and she has outlined her plans in the near future, as per the BBC: "We are hoping we will start a new lawsuit and we will have the chance to take on Elon Musk in front of a jury and judge."
Balan has added that, at this point, she simply wants to "clear my name," outlining that "I wish Elon Musk had the decency to apologize."
