Elon Musk has roasted the owners of one certain car brand after the owner was caught damaging a Tesla...
There's more controversy surrounding Elon Musk, with the divisive tech mogul once again facing problems with Tesla. While Tesla stocks had been soaring in the aftermath of Donald Trump winning the 2024 election, Musk's position as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency has led to a lot of backlash. Tesla wiped some $800 billion off its market cap, Musk lost $29 billion in a single day, and there have been calls for boycotts against the EV brand.
As well as protests at Tesla dealerships up and down the country, there have also been incidents where shots have been fired.

The POTUS turned the front of the White House into his very own Tesla showroom, referring to those vandalizing the vehicles and electric chargers as 'domestic terrorists', while Musk has vowed to track them down.
There's been a much-needed uptick in Tesla stocks, and even though we're sure Musk is having some uncomfortable conversations behind the scenes, he's treating it as business as usual.
The New York Post shared footage has captured the moment someone drew a swastika on the side of a Cybertruck in New York, with the owner confronting the man in question.

Jewish man Avi Ben Hamo was stunned to find someone had drawn a swastika on the side of his car, and said: "I feel myself burning inside."
Watching as the vandal tried to drive off, Hamo then stood in front of the assailant's Subaru to stop them from getting away.
Hamo phoned 911, and after the man ditched his Subaru in the bike lane, he returned 90 minutes later to find the police waiting for him.
42-year-old Michael Lewis was charged with aggravated harassment, although lawyer Mark Luccarelli says his client refuses to apologize. The Brooklyn district attorney has apparently released Lewis without pursuing charges.

Luccarelli reiterated that Lewis is also Jewish, and added: "There was zero damage to the car. He did not commit a crime of any kind."
Musk himself waded into the drama, and posting on X, wrote: "Crazy people. Naturally, he drives a Subaru …"
Others responded with their own thoughts on Subaru, with many defending the brand. One person wrote: "Hey‼️ all the farmers in my area voted for Trump and drive a Subaru because of the snow. Don't put a hit out on innocent people."

Another said: "Hey Elon! I drive a Tesla Model S and a Subaru Forester. I’m at war with myself!"
Someone else concluded: "I own a Subaru - but I'm MAGA not an extremist :) I'd love to have a Tesla - but under Biden was unemployed 4 yrs. So I can't afford one :(."
Hamo was still shocked by the incident and said: "People hating [Tesla owner] Elon Musk is one thing, but to do something like this is next level. I’m speechless. That’s just wrong.
"I don’t understand how someone thinks because I bought a car it gives them the authorization to do this."

The New York Post says that Tesla vandalism is on the rise, with one Cybertruck being egged and covered in dog poop just a few weeks ago.
Elsewhere, signs have been popping up that read: "Properly dispose of your dog’s waste – place it onto the nearest Cybertruck.
"If you see Elon Musk, you may also deposit it directly into his mouth."
Even as the backlash continues, Musk seems steadfast in continuing his work as the head of the DOGE.
