The Cybertruck has been dividing opinion since the moment it was first unveiled - its design is surely one of the most controversial in automotive history.
To some people, it's the future, a funky and shockingly different approach to car design is both unique and fun.
Others, though, think it's a sharp-edged monstrosity with oversized dimensions and counter-productive material choices.

If there's one way to widen that divide even further, though, it's to stick a hologram oil-spill metallic wrap on your Tesla Cybertruck before you drive it around, as proved by a recent Reddit post.
Shared on the Cybertruck subreddit, the post shows three photos of the vehicle spotted on a highway, and its wrap is fairly unbelievable.
It's an iridescent take on the stainless steel that the Cybertruck ships with, far more reflective and with nearly the whole spectrum of colors visible in its reflections of light.

The photos are taken from a car alongside it, but do a great job of showing how it looks completely different depending on where the light hits it - and it even has the wrap on its wheels for maximum coverage.
Unsurprisingly, the post has thrown up plenty of discussion in less than a day since it was uploaded, with opinions very much falling into different camps.
The top comment in the thread says: "I can’t, but I’m happy someone did."
In fact, a lot of people seem to have an internal battle raging over this wrap, with one comment reading: "Insane…perfect", while another person wrote: "Awful. I love it."

In fact, very few people seem able to either just praise the truck or criticize the design - everyone's stuck in the middle.
Another joked: "I just know JoJo Siwa's driving that," while another hilariously speculated it was from someone who paid "the bills with YouTube views".
Finally, one commenter wrote: "Good god. Crazy, but also wonderful people are going so ham on them!"

They're completely right, of course - we've already seen loads of custom Cybertruck paint jobs and wraps, even though it's only been out for a handful of months.
This hasn't even seemingly slowed down despite the fact that Tesla was forced to announce a total recall of the Cybertruck in late April thanks to an accelerator pedal defect.
This could cause the pedal to become stuck down, and every Cybertruck will need to go to a service center to have their pedal fixed or adjusted to avoid the issue.
That's some egg on Elon Musk's face, but he'll surely hope that it doesn't dent the Cybertruck's reputation too badly.
