They say that patience is a virtue, and if anyone knows that more than others, it's Netflix users. We're used to playing a waiting game with the streaming giant, and whether it's sitting patiently for Stranger Things season 5 or the final season of Squid Game, we've learned that all good things come to those who wait. That can also work in reverse, with users often waiting for Netflix to clamp down on password sharing or hike prices to more than they already are.
Thankfully, there could be another reason to press pause on your potential cancelation, as Netflix has added a button we've been waiting a decade for.

Like so many streaming services these days, Netflix is for the viewer on the go. While some of us like to settle in at home and watch on our standard TVs, Netflix lets you take your favorite shows on the move with your iPhone and iPad.
Whether it be helping pass the time on your next flight, having something to watch during your morning commute on public transport, or sneaking off from the family function to finish that latest season while hiding out in the toilet, Netflix's offline features have become a lifesaver.
The problem is, that it can be a bit fiddly.
Android users were already gifted a 'Season Download' button, meaning they didn't have to scroll through all six seasons of Lost and manually download all 121 episodes. If iPhone and iPad users now head to a show's page, they'll be able to see the Season Download button next to the 'Share' option. Then head to your My Netflix tab and check out all your downloads. Netflix confirmed the update on its official site, adding: "Whether you're gearing up for a long flight and ready to dive into the new season of The Night Agent, a cross-country train ride with XO Kitty Season 2 keeping you company, or just planning some downtime offline, this feature has you covered with just the click of a button."

Netflix went on to reveal that Squid Game Season 1, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Squid Game Season 2, ONE PIECE, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story are the Top 5 most downloaded Netflix shows of all time, but then again, you probably knew that.

Even though Netflix fans couldn't be happier, many iPhone users questioned why this hadn't been an option all along. Others were quick to call out the streaming service and filled the comments section with the usual grumbles that they're going to cancel their service. Finally, there were all the typical pirates lurking out there and mocking anyone who pays for Netflix.
Netflix is far from perfect, and while the addition of a Season Download button is a welcome one, we're not sure it'll take the sting out of that controversial price hike.
