Twitch star Amouranth may have had to pull out of the ring in the past, but she is potentially open to trying again with the right person.
After being forced to withdraw from her planned boxing debut in 2023 due to health concerns, she’s now ready to take another swing at it. And she already has an opponent in mind: the also-famous Pokimane.
Originally, Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa was set to face Spanish streamer Maite ‘Mayichi’ Carrillo at Ibai Llanos’ La Velada del Ano 3, but withdrew after revealing she was suffering from “late-stage ovarian failure.”

When asked on Dexerto’s below Clickbaited YouTube show about going back into it, starting from just past the 25-minute mark, Amouranth replied: “Yes and no, it would depend who”.
The famous streamer did mention that she had been excited about the idea of boxing and saw it as a unique challenge that could make for some engaging content.
She earlier explained: “It gives me kinda an arc to stream the boxing training and all that. I thought it would be kinda cool and [Mayichi] didn’t look very intimidating either. So, I felt very confident”.

With that, Clickbaited’s host, Dexerto co-founder Mike Kent, followed up on her “yes and no…” answer by asking: “Ok, who do you wanna fight?”.
After thinking for a moment, Amouranth revealed her dream opponent: Twitch’s own Pokimane.
“Pokimane,” she said, before adding that she wasn’t sure if her fellow streamer would accept the challenge. Siragusa added: “I don’t think she will… We could pillow fight. Paid tickets only”.
Although Pokimane has yet to participate in influencer boxing, she did train at Mizkif’s gym last year and has shown interest in the sport. Whether she’ll take Amouranth up on the offer remains to be seen.

Siragusa has also taken to social media to clarify on X (formerly Twitter), that this was filmed before an attempted robbery — where she was held at gunpoint — took place March 2.
During the same section of the interview show, Amouranth also shared a bizarre interaction with Social Gloves boxer Austin McBroom, revealing that he reached out to her asking if she had Snapchat.

She said: “Such a weird thing to ask,” while laughing. before gesturing to her off-screen assistant and added: “She told me that he was divorced. I’m like, ‘oh right. Yeah, no.’ Maybe I’ll box him, though. Hot tub boxing, make it happen.”
While an Amouranth vs. McBroom fight seems unlikely, the streamer has floated another wild idea: hiring a male boxer to fight for her by proxy.
“I won’t fight a biological male, but I’m sure I could find a proxy who I will cover all expenses and training for who will,” she teased back in February.
Nothing is officially set in motion for Amouranth’s return to the ring just yet, but given her massive following, any event featuring her — either in the ring or behind the scenes — it would be worth keeping an eye on as it develops, whether you’re a fan of her or not.
