A man documented himself 'illegally' living in a luxury airport for four days and was left concerned after no one noticed.
Much like Tom Hanks’ character in The Terminal, which is a movie loosely based on the true story of a man who spent 18 years living in a Paris airport, one man decided to have a go at spending a few days living as a nomad inside a terminal.
Mehran Karimi Nasseri lived in the departure lounge of terminal 1 in Charles de Gaulle Airport from 26 August 1988 until July 2006 when he was hospitalized.
He subsequently returned to living in the airport in September 2022 and died of a heart attack there in November 2022.

YouTube channel, Yes Theory, weren’t exactly intending to beat Nasseri’s record but decided to attempt to spend four days living in Singapore’s luxury Changi Airport.
Matt and Thomas filmed their stay, writing in the video description: “DISCLAIMER: Do not try to replicate this. Even we entered the airport and missed our flight, however, we had the intention to travel 4 days later. It is not allowed however to enter without the intention of ever traveling.”
In the clip, they said: “As of 2 pm, we have officially missed our flight. Now is when it actually begins.”

The pair decided to check out the luxurious amenities that the airport had to offer including a swimming pool and a movie theater.
There was even a hotel they could stay at, but as it’s a rule that you can only stay in the airport for a maximum of 48 hours, they opted to crash on the benches to avoid arousing suspicion.
Despite being checked in on by security while they slept, Matt and Thomas were shocked that they were able to stay a whole four days before boarding their new flight out of the country.
And there was plenty to do during this time, with a gym, a massage parlor and countless restaurants, they added that they 'definitely wasn't expecting this when thinking about living in an airport for several days'.

Viewers were impressed that they’d managed to go four days undetected, with many taking to the YouTube comment section to share their thoughts.
One user wrote: “These guys are the CEO of having what seems to be clickbait titles but actually living up to the expectations.”
Another said: “Maybe they didn't get kicked out because they were spending money all over the airport.”

And a third person added: “I love how every time it just zooms back in to that one specific ‘it’s arrestable to be here more than 48 hours’.”
