Fans have been left concerned for a YouTuber who is live streaming 30 days of solitary confinement in total darkness.
Viewers have noticed that the content creator is starting to show some worrying signs.
Known online as Norme, the YouTuber has earned himself over 1.2 million subscribers by taking on unusual and torturous challenges.

These include staying awake for 12 days straight, not blinking for over two hours and, even more bizarrely, eating a cactus.
In his latest challenge, Norme is live streaming himself trapped in a small storage area where he has nothing but a mattress on the floor.
The idea is to test his sanity and see whether he ‘goes insane’ in the confinement.

With a camera pointing into the space, Norme is advertising stunts he will perform in exchange for money.
For $5, he will do a handstand, for $20, he will spend 15 minutes wearing a straightjacket and if you send him $50, Norme will spend one hour wearing tape over his mouth.
The YouTuber began his experiment on October 16, which means as of writing this on October 29, he has spent 13 days in isolation.
However, viewers have noticed that Norme is starting to show worrying signs after he was heard muttering about ‘intergalactic aliens’.

Norme has also been seen standing with his head pressed against the wall and heard making ‘demonic’ sounds.
Taking to the chat in the live stream, many viewers have expressed their concerns.
One user wrote: “He needs help.”
Another said: “STOP TORTURING URSELF FOR VIEWS!”

A third posted: “How he hasn’t had a psychological breakdown from these challenges idk.”
A fourth said: “Dude ok we honestly need to get in contact with this guy’s fam.”
And a fifth person added: “Subs mean nothing if you land yourself in the hospital.”

However, not everyone is convinced by Norme’s strange behavior and others have questioned how authentic it is.
One user wrote: “Give bro an oscar for going absolutely insane.”
And another person said: “ He'd do this to get a bunch of subs ding dong.”
According to studies, solitary confinement can lead to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, paranoia, psychosis, hallucinations, panic attacks and more.
For people with pre-existing mental health issues, this can exacerbate their conditions.
There are also possibly physical side effects from being in total isolation, including chronic headaches, sleep disorder, fatigue and heart palpitations.
