A woman who works as a software engineer for Meta has revealed what a day in her life looks like and people can’t get over the perks.
Apurva Singh shared her journey into the Meta office before documenting what it’s like for her to work during the day.
Uploading the video onto her YouTube channel, Singh wrote in the description: “Come along to see what it's like to work at Meta, Menlo park office (headquarters) situated at the heart of Silicon Valley.”
The office certainly comes with some cool perks as Singh filmed herself arriving at the office by shuttle bus before enjoying a free breakfast made up of chopped apples, tater tots, scrambled eggs and broccoli.

During the day, Singh was able to make the most of the free snacks on offer and helped herself to a bottle of coconut water.
She grabbed lunch at an Indian eatery within the office and before the end of the day, she stopped by an ice cream parlor in the grounds which served her a free cone.
Singh ate her ice cream in the company’s rooftop garden.

The perks of the job shocked her viewers, who took to the YouTube comment section to share their reactions, with one user writing: “I didn’t think it was possible to appreciate such small things like a shuttle to work, a free cafeteria, free vending machines, and a zen garden. Meta does have one of the most beautiful office spaces.”
Another person said: “So gifted and blessed to be working for Meta, especially an office like that, wow! It's a dream.”
A third shared their own experience, adding: “I did some work at a facebook data center for a little bit. Free breakfast and lunch made and scooped to you by hand everyday by the chefs. Different meals every day as well, included a dessert too. Freshly squeezed orange juice every morning, snack stations at any time; coffee, energy drinks, soda, lunchables, chips, granola bars, you name it.

“They also had game rooms with consoles, arcades, etc.”
A fourth wrote: “I bet that would be a dream job for just about everybody. All the perks, I can imagine millions of people that worked in offices from the 70's and 90's with depressing and old surroundings and the only perks being a coffee machine and water cooler lol.”
And a fifth joked: “That's not a software engineer's life, that's a food vlogger.”
