A man has braved the ‘hardest trek’ he’s ever embarked on in a bid to sleep in the plane of one of the world’s most evil men.
Drug lord Pablo Escobar’s plane crashed down in Yucatan, Mexico, and to this day, no one knows the circumstances of why it crashed.
The aircraft was once used to transport drugs but it has since been left abandoned deep in the jungles of Mexico.
YouTuber Mike Corey, known online as @fearlessandfar, took on an “exhausting” three day hike into the unknown in the hopes of locating the famous plane.

In the video he battled against razor sharp grass, ants, wading through swamps, and camping in mosquito nets at night.
Finally reaching a field in the middle of nowhere, Corey sees Escobar’s plane for the first time.
In the clip, he said: “That's it! We found it! Oh my god. So many bites and stings.
“Pablo Escobar's crashed cocaine drug plane. Craziest adventure of my life. That is a hard trek. The hardest I have ever done actually.

“And here we are, the middle of nowhere standing on top of this airplane.
“It kinda feels like a mountain peak even though our rise in elevation was probably only about five meters.
“So happy we made it. And of the perfect time too. Sun's just setting.”

Setting up camp for the night inside the famous plane, Corey shows bullet holes visible in the side of the aircraft, adding: “They went all the way through. Look. Do you think it was maybe shot down?”
The plane would have likely been once filled with barrels of cocaine being transported, but according to Corey, after the crash the cargo “mysteriously disappeared”.
He said: “No one knows where all the snow went, but it's not on the plane anymore. The mysteries are unsolved.”

The next morning, the group set off back out of the jungle, with “two more days of trekking through mud” ahead of them.
Fans of the channel took to the YouTube comment section to share their thoughts, with one user writing: “From all the struggles you went through on this trip, it makes me think of what all the old explorers would have felt with even worse equipment and much heavier.”
Another said: “You couldn’t pay me to walk in that water barefoot.”

And a third added: “Every step that you took, had me at the edge of my seat. It's hard to imagine myself on adventures like these while at the comfort of my own home, but you go on such amazing adventures that make me jealous. Danger is at every corner, every step, glad that we're able to join you with each step.”
