'Creepy' animation shows what would happen to your body in an underwater explosion

The human body wouldn't stand a chance

Animations are a brilliant way to illustrate things that we can't fathom, or better yet, try ourselves.

Entering a black hole or what happens to the human body at 3,800m below sea level.

The latter, inspired by the OceanGate Titanic submarine, was a visual simulation of how the human body would react to the intense pressure at the deepest ocean depths.

For those who love to see these extreme hypothetical scenarios in action, here's another one for you.

An animation on YouTube showed the clash between the human body and an underwater explosion.

Although the results are pretty obvious, watching the impact is still pretty interesting.

The video starts with a spooky figure setting up a bomb in the middle of the ocean, aboard a wooden raft near a buoy.

The camera zooms into the creepy hands that set the bomb for 25 seconds before throwing it into a barrel as the creepy figure follows.

As the barrel falls into the water, and a tense few seconds to spare, the action happens.

Several angles show the animated gore of the human body and the barrel exploding.

Each explosion becomes more horrific than the last as they seemingly happen deeper and deeper below the surface.

The first few explosions are enveloped by rapid water bubbles swarming the impact.

But towards the end of the video, seemingly deeper in the ocean, the surrounding blue has turned to a solid black. And the effects of the explosion are much more intense and gruesome.

Debris from the barrel and simulated blood splatter are more visible, making the simulations much more horrifying.

The video was posted by atomic marvel in April earlier this year and has gained almost 75k views on YouTube.

'woah… so that’s what would happen if i got in a barrel with a pack of dynamite, and dumped myself in the ocean with it?,' one comment read.

One user wrote: 'Never thought I'd see a skinless dude climb in a barrel with a bomb, seal it up and plunge himself in the ocean.

'I seriously couldn't help but yell out "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!"

Definitely subbing to this freaky channel.'

Others joking asked if the man that climbed in the barrel was okay, writing: 'tis but a scratch' and 'I hope he is OK'.
