Mioke Myser has made another appearance as Tesla billionaire Elon Musk on SNL.
While most of you might know Mike Myers as that funny guy who does the voice of Shrek or the man who still hasn't given us Austin Powers 4, his career resurgence has come from an unlikely place. It's not that Myers really needs the publicity, and while he's not seen as much as he used to be, his appearance on Saturday Night Live has brought him back to the mainstream. Elon Musk impressions aren't exactly new to the comedy variety show, with Dana Carvey famously playing the world's richest man last year.
Musk wasn't a fan of Carvey's impression of him, and after Myers recently portrayed the tech mogul, he was equally unimpressed and delivered a savage five-word response.

It's easy to forget that Musk himself once delivered an opening SNL monologue, but this was a time before he was 'First Buddy' for President Donald Trump.
We doubt Mr.Musk will be impressed with Myers' latest takedown, again reprising his impression and mocking Musk.

In the latest SNL cold open, we see James Austin Johnson's President Trump trying to broker peace between Myers' Musk and Secretary of State Marco Rubio (Marcello Hernández).

Channeling some serious Dr. Evil vibes, the sketch pokes fun at reports of Musk and Rubio's recent 'explosive' clash at the White House, with the former apparently saying Rubio looks "good on TV" but suggesting he's not much use for anything else.
It didn't take long for SNL to latch onto the comedy potential of this, including Johnson's Trump joking that Rubio should chance his name to 'Mark Ruby' now that English is the USA's 'official' language.
Hernández's Rubio says: "If you think I’m going to stand here and let you call me that, you’re right. But what I don't accept is Elon having total access to our government. Planes are crashing, and he keeps trying to fire air traffic controllers.”
There are also jokes about the recent explosion of Musk's SpaceX rocket, Rubio being a scapegoat, and Musk wearing a suit.

“Marco, get your budget under control," says Johnson's Trump. "Elon, stay in your lane. You're not the boss."
Myers' Musk then references the huge sum the real Musk donated to the Trump campaign, adding: "But I paid you $300 million."
Trump then says: "And that's why you're the boss. We’ll get out of your office."
During an inner monologue, Myers-Musk says he's completed 'phase one' of his plan, "ingratiate yourself to the president and take over the media." He then adds: "Was taking this job a bad idea? A lot of people seem to really hate me, my Tesla stock is crashing, and my personal net worth just dropped by $100 billion."

It's openly mocking Musk's recent financial troubles where Tesla stock has tanked in the aftermath of him becoming head of the Department of Government Efficiency.
Not everyone was a fan of the sketch, with one critic writing: "What is SNL? Seriously? Is that a show anymore? It used to be funny when I was a kid. Now it's where failed ‘comedians’ go to talk about politics."

Another grumbled: "Mike Myers was once a giant in comedy. Politics takes another one down."
At least some approved, with one person concluding: "SNL's Trump mediation skit with Musk and Rubio is spot-on. Myers nails it, showing how out of touch this White House really is."
