The big day is looming, and as the American public heads to the polls, it's Harris versus Trump in 2024.
The 2024 American election has been one of the wildest in memory, with Joe Biden dropping out, assassination attempts, highly-charged debates, and Elon Musk doing jumping jacks.
Both sides have been on the marketing assault to try and grab those key votes in what looks like an increasingly tight election.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have been using their celebrity fans to try and curry favor, with Republicans and Democrats around the United States drawing their battle lines.
Podcaster Joe Rogan welcomed Donald Trump in Austin, Texas, recording a three-hour episode of The Joe Rogan Experience and even making Trump several hours late for his own rally in Michigan.
The Rogan episode comes two years after he referred to the former President as 'an existential threat to democracy' and refused to have him on the show.
A lot has changed since then, and with the pair sharing more than just Elon Musk as a mutual friend, they discussed everything from how he told Kim Jong-un to 'go to the beach' to whether he believes in aliens.

There have been questions about political bias and why Rogan hasn't had the same sit-down with Kamala Harris. The man himself has revealed the reason behind it, but as you can imagine, fans aren't happy.
According to Rogan, the Harris campaign didn't turn down the offer to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience, but the dates simply didn't line up. Rogan says Harris' representatives only offered one date and wanted him to travel to her for a one-hour interview. He added: "I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin. My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being."

As the Trump episode of The Joe Rogan Experience has already clocked in with over 39 million views in just four days, it could be an important way for Harris to get her message out there - especially with the young male demographic that Rogan tends to attract.
Trump and Rogan discussed Harris' potential appearance on the podcast, with the latter saying: "She was supposed to do it. And she might still do it. I hope she does. I will talk to her like a human being. I would try to have a conversation with her. I think we’d have a fine conversation."
In terms of Rogan's resons for why he hasn't interviewed Harris yet, users on X weren't impressed by his response.

One said: "With a straight face, a podcast host says he is unwilling to travel for an interview with the Vice President of the United States of America and Democratic nominee for President."
Another added, "If I could have interviewed a person who is potentially the future president, I would have canceled everything in my calendar. Unless you were burying a close friend or relative, you weren't committed to the interview."
Someone else mused: "She is VP. Fly there and interview her unless you are too intimidated. She is a strong and brilliant woman."
Others were on Rogan's side and accused Kamala of trying to 'play' him, with some saying that Trump agreed to the terms and made it work. Still, with Rogan getting JD Vance on The Joe Rogan Experience just days after Trump, there are calls for the podcaster to make it work with Harris.

With time running out until the polls open, it's unclear whether the Democrats will get their moment in the spotlight on The Joe Rogan Experience.
