Donald Trump is wasting no time putting his new powers to the test, and with him officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, he's already been dishing out executive orders.
From extending the deadline of the potential TikTok ban to renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, launching his own $TRUMP meme coin to pardons for the January 6 riots, he's making some sweeping changes in a bit to usher in a 'golden age' for America.
Despite being the oldest President to ever serve in the United States, Trump has shown he's pretty tech-savvy.

Some of this has been put down to the influence of his youngest son, Barron Trump, who reportedly encouraged his father to engage with TikTok and podcasts to promote himself.
Donald Trump memorably spoke on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on October 26, 2024.
Appearing just days before the U.S. election, the three-hour talk saw Trump discussing everything from allegations of voter fraud to the potential of alien life.

Rogan faced some heat for not interviewing Kamala Harris, although it landed him an invite to the inauguration.
Harking back to the podcast, some have pointed out Trump's promise to reveal files relating to the assassinations of JFK, Martin Luther King Jr., and Robert Kennedy.
Discussing it with Rogan, Trump previously said that he was shown the files by 'good people' but was shocked by what was inside the JFK file.
He reiterated, "If I win I'm going to open them up," and now he's back in power, that question has been raised again.

Even though Trump referred to it as a 'cleansing' to Rogan, the decision to open these files is one that's sure to be met with controversy.
Speaking at Washington's 'Make America Great Again Victory Rally' on January 19, Trump circled back and said: "As the first step toward restoring transparency and accountability to government, we will also reverse the over-classification of government documents.
“And in the coming days, we are going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr." These promises got some of the biggest cheers of the night.
He did reveal excerpts of the JFK file during his first term, however, he came under pressure from the CIA and FBI, meaning huge chunks were held back.

Trump previously faced pushback from CIA Director Mike Pompeo during his first term, and before Pompeo became Secretary of State, he asked the then-POTUS not to release the files.
CNN notes that around 95% of the JFK assassination file has now been released, so we're not sure what else there is to be found. Still, Trump saying he was 'shocked' by what he's seen suggests some major revelations could still be under wraps.
Unlike the 1992 Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act setting a 2017 deadline for the release of all files, it's unclear how Trump might try to speed up the Martin Luther King Jr. Records Collection Act setting its own 2027 mandate for those files.
With some of those named in the files thought to be still alive, Trump admitted that releasing them is not something you'd typically do. That doesn't sound like it's going to stop him this time around.
