We imagine some uncomfortable conversations are going on right now at the White House, and we don't mean amid fears that Vladimir Putin could be about to unload his nuclear arsenal on Ukraine and trigger World War 3.
The USA has just waded into the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and issued a series of airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi rebels. President Donald Trump has praised this
'decisive and powerful' attack that's left at least 53 dead, although even those within the POTUS' party could be set to turn against him.

The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg claims he was accidentally added to a Signal group chat and was privy to the attack two hours before it happened. Republican and Democrats alike are calling out this 'shocking' breach, and while Elon Musk doesn't seem bothered, the Trump administration is facing a barrage of questions.
As you can imagine, the Democrats were hot on the case, with many calling for Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth. (who was reportedly in the group chat) to resign.

There were similar barbs from former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who wasted no time in making her feelings clear. Trump and Clinton have clashed on several occasions, but in the aftermath of the Signal leak, she took to X to simply write: "👀 You have got to be kidding me."

The former US Secretary of State and First Lady notably faced critiques from President Trump, who repeatedly threatened to jail her for using a private email account while in office.
Aside from a single comment that reads, "Lock him right up," Clinton has locked replies.
Still, the quotes make for some interesting reading.
Supporting the former First Lady, one person wrote: "Yeah, she's allowed to be mad about this one ngl."

Another chimed in: "Everyone that voted for Trump in 2016 or just didn't vote in 2016 because of the email thing owes this woman a massive handwritten apology. Right f**king now."
Others backed the Trump administration, as another said: "Hillary covered up her emails and suppressed FBI investigations into her errors. Also she was using it for her own purposes via influence peddling. Dumb b*tch is still coping."
Of course, it’s not just the Democrats up in arms. Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon called out the security implications and said: "Putting out classified information like that endangers our forces, and I can’t believe that they were knowingly putting that kind of classified information on unclassified systems, it’s just wrong."
Texas' Sen. John Cornyn added: "Sounds like a huge screwup. I mean, is there any other way to describe it? I don’t think you should use Signal for classified information."

Others claim the left is blowing things out of proportion, with Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley telling Fox News: "This is what the leftist media is reduced to...now we’re griping about who’s on a text message and who’s not. I mean, come on."
However, House Speaker Mike Johnson suggested to reporters that disciplinary action won't be brought against those in the chat: "Clearly, I think the administration has acknowledged it was a mistake and they’ll tighten up and make sure it doesn’t happen again."
In a particularly scathing retort, CNN has spliced together clips of Trump officials who were in the Signal chat and had previously criticized Clinton’s email server. With shots fired from Clinton, we just need to wait for Trump's inevitable response.
