With the Doomsday Clock officially moving closer to midnight than ever before, you'll forgive us for being concerned about the state of everything right now.
The world is at war, with the Russia-Ukraine conflict rumbling on and President Donald Trump's hopes of a peace treaty seemingly slipping away before our eyes.
There was a disastrous meeting between the POTUS and Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, with the aftermath leading to Elon Musk calling for the USA to exit NATO.

If that wasn't enough to contend with, both Trump and Russia's President Vladimir Putin have us rightly concerned about World War 3.
Speaking to the Justice Department, Trump said: "I think we have it, I think we have it, but this could lead to World War III, very easily, could very easily lead to World War III.
"But I think we're in pretty good shape, a lot better than where we were before we got involved.

"That was heading into World War III territory, that would've been a war like no other because of nuclear weapons, and other types of weapons that you don't even wanna know about."
Even though the President is adamant that things are looking in better shape since the USA intervened, many are rightly fearful about what could happen if the bombs start to fall.
We've already covered the 'safest' countries to flee to in case of nuclear war, but what about the places most likely to be brought to rubble by someone's nuclear arsenal?

Asking ChatGPT the 'worst' countries to be in case of World War III, you'll be unsurprised to know that the USA is the place you want to be getting out of.
The AI chatbot reiterates: "As a leading global military power and a member of NATO, the U.S. would be a primary target." Major cities and hubs including Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and New York City are said to be most at risk.
Second place is also an obvious one, with Russia being a potential WWIII epicenter. ChatGPT refers to it as "a nuclear superpower and a likely belligerent in WW3," highlighting Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and military installations as key targets.
China is in third, with the ChatGPT warning: "A major global power with potential involvement in conflicts, especially concerning Taiwan."

Ukraine's role in the ongoing war puts it in fourth, while NATO countries like Germany, UK, France, and Poland take joint fifth. According to ChatGPT, Germany and Poland could become major political battlegrounds in WWIII.
The top 10 is rounded off by Taiwan, North Korea, Israel and the Middle East, India and Pakistan, and Japan.
In terms of dangerous regions, the Arctic is tipped to see countries fight over resources, the South China Sea could hold host to naval battles, and the Persian Gulf could become important due to it holding major oil routes.
While this all sounds like a lot of hypothetical doom and gloom, the fact that one of the most powerful people in the world is discussing WWIII means this might not be some apocalyptic scenario confined to the movies.
