The controversial methods of biohacker Bryan Johnson continue to astound, as the man who tries to cheat death carries on his mission to keep looking young while Father Time bang on his door. Johnson's techniques include suggesting that we don't eat meals after noon, hit a strict 8.30 pm bedtime, and ditch organic food as well as 'harmful' substances like alcohol. While many remain unconvinced by his work, it's a lifestyle that the biohacker swears by as his biological age (apparently) continues to tumble.
Johnson isn’t afraid to get between the sheets, previously discussing how you can check your penis age, and famously grabbing headlines for collecting the erection data on his own son.
Crypto influencer and journalist Tiffany Fong posted on X, saying it's mad that men can wake up in the morning with erections. Bryan Johnson was quick to sweep in with some science facts, saying that women can also wake up with 'raging boners'. Responding to Fong, Johnson said: "Tiffany you have raging boners too. Women experience clitoral tumescence during REM sleep, often referred to as the 'morning bean'.

The medical name for 'morning bean' is actually Nocturnal clitoral tumescence (NCT), which is similar to men getting aroused at night and is a 'spontaneous' swelling of the clitoris.
Over on TikTok, Dr. Karan Raj has explained 'morning bean' and said: "The clitoris is filled with erectile tissue. In both men and women, parasympathetic activity is heightened during REM sleep, which means more blood flow to the crown jewels, more engorgement and swelling of 'bits'."

Saying that we get more REM sleep as the night wears on, this is why NCT can often occur just before we wake up. As for why it might not be as commonly talked about as morning wood, Raj concluded: "As opposed to the penis, most of the clitoris is internal – it's about four inches long on average – so most of the morning bean is not visible."

A clearly shocked Fong was surprised to learn about this, but others were a little creeped out by Johnson's public commentary.
One critic wrote: "W mansplaining vaginal biology."
Another added: "Why didn’t any part of you stop you from tweeting this."
A third joked: "Morning bean got me crying. Bro turned a boner joke into a TED Talk in 2 tweets."

This isn't the first time Johnson has shot his shot on X, previously offering his services to help Elon Musk trim the federal fat.
Just when you thought Bryan Johnson having to explain why he's stopped injecting his son's blood is about as weird as it gets, he continues to surprise.
Having biohacker Bryan Johnson trying to explain female arousal on X probably wasn't on any of our 2025 bingo cards, but with lots of people saying the interaction is just another reason not to delete X, it's the gift that keeps on giving.
