A 100 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes is a pretty rare thing and one series bestowed with the honor is coming back for a second season in November.
So, if you're looking for something good to binge-watch as the cooler fall weather arrives, this Netflix series could be the answer to your prayers.
The popular show first arrived on the streaming platform back in 2021 and was met by both critical and commercial acclaim, with viewers lauding its 'excellent story' and 'well-written characters.'

Set in the utopian Piltover and oppressed underground of Zaun, Arcane: League of Legends tells the origin stories of two iconic League champions.
The Netflix synopsis for the animated series reads: "Amid the stark discord of twin cities Piltover and Zaun, two sisters (voiced by Ella Purnell and Hailee Steinfeld) fight on rival sides of a war between magic technologies and clashing convictions."
Arcane was a breakout hit when it first released due to its mature and emotional story and beautiful animation.

And, with the first season getting a perfect 100 percent approval rating amongst critics on Rotten Tomatoes and average rating of 9.1 out of 10, Netflix will be hoping for similar success from season two.
While fans will have to wait until November for it to arrive on the streamer, a trailer released a few weeks ago has given us a taste of what of we can expect.
The high-impact clip promises even more of an emotional reckoning between divided sisters Vi and Jinx as they struggle to see eye to eye.

One person wrote: "The animation in this show is so freaking insane and beyond beautiful, everybody that worked on this deserves a golden medal."
Another said: "I love animated shows and movies that actually take advantage of the medium to make uniquely stylized visuals instead of trying to be hyper-realistic."
And a third commented: "Arcane is one of the best if not THE best thing Netflix has ever released."
But it's not all good news. Alongside the season two trailer, it was announced that this will be the final chapter of the Arcane story and no future series will be released.

This being said, series co-creator Christian Linke has reassured fans that this isn't the end of the League of Legends world altogether.

"[It is the] first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra."
