The highly anticipated Severance season two finale, Cold Harbor, is officially set to be the longest episode in the series’ history. And if that wasn’t enough to keep fans on edge, episode 10's also been hit with a warning for intense violence for when it lands on Apple TV+.
This news comes courtesy of the Australian Government’s Classification Board, which has revealed that the season’s closing episode will run for a whopping 76 minutes — nearly double the length of episode 8, Sweet Vitriol, which wrapped up in just 38 minutes.

As for the violence part, that comes from the Classification Board giving Cold Harbor an "MA 15+ Restricted" rating for "strong violence and blood and gore", suggesting that the finale will be more brutal than anything we've seen so far. To put that into perspective, episode four, Woe’s Hollow, featured an attempted drowning, yet only received a “Mature” rating. If Cold Harbor is pushing things even further, it seems like an even more intense ride is in store.
The classification details also hint at a “Parental Guidance” rating for sex, meaning there’s a chance we could see Mark S and Helly R — or her Outie Helena Eagen — attempt to rekindle either connection. Alternatively, Helena Eagan may attempt to get closer to Mark, or we could even witness a long-awaited reunion between Mark and his wife Gemma, after the events of episode seven, Chikhai Bardo.
With Severance constantly dropping mind-bending twists as the streaming series has gone on, it’s still unclear how everything will play out, but there are certainly at least a few things to cover.

For example, there's the mystery around the Wintertide Fellowship, a cryptic Lumon rite that Ms. Huang's set to take part in, while Ms. Cobel has gone through it herself, as revealed in episode 8. So far though, little is known about what it actually entails.
Next, there’s the long-awaited reunion between Mark and Gemma. Chikhai Bardo revealed that Gemma is still inside Lumon, existing as both her Innie and Outie selves. With the finale titled Cold Harbor, it seems likely the two could finally reunite, but with Severance, nothing is ever that simple.
Another pressing issue is whether Mark will be able to get through his reintegration unscathed. The shocking revelation in Sweet Vitriol confirmed that Ms. Cobel was behind the creation of the severance procedure, but it remains if her help in aiding Mark to reverse it will bear fruit, or have dire consequences.
With the finale just around the corner and this classification to go by, Severance fans are in for a wild and possibly brutal conclusion to season two.
