The perks of YouTube is that we get to watch adventure seekers take on unbelievable challenges from the comfort and safety of our sofa.
Content creators rack up millions of views by undergoing extreme missions including spending a day in zero gravity and exploring some of the world’s deepest and most dangerous caves.
The clips are fascinating to watch and make you feel like you’re on the ride with them - well, without any of the risk that is.
Now, one YouTube duo has documented the journey they took to spend an overnight at the world’s loneliest hotel, which sits 15,000 ft high.

Capanna Margherita is located at the summit of a mountain in the Alps, lying near the border between Italy and Switzerland.
It became home for the night to YouTubers Thomas Brag and Ammar Kandil, who uploaded a video of their experience to their channel, @YesTheory.
Talking to the camera, they said: “Defying the laws of physics perched on one of Europe's highest mountains at
4,554 M or 15,000 ft is the loneliest and one of the highest hotels in the world.

“As you can imagine, reaching it is no simple feat but a treacherous and dangerous multi-day journey that takes patience, expertise and athleticism to accomplish.”
With the help of guides, the pair trekked up the mountain on skis in a feat which took two days to complete.
During their expedition, they braved the elements, adding: “The mountain is steep as hell and the wind is whipping right now, got quite a bit to go still.

“I'm so out of breath, these two nights we're going to spend up here in the mountains sure as hell damn know I'll remember them for the rest of my life.”
But finally reaching the summit, they were able to take in the incredible views of the Alps.
Brag added: “My headache has not stopped but this view was 100000% worth it.

“I had never personally struggled with altitude as much as I did on this trip but the headache and pain was easily overshadowed by the absolute excitement for the majestic and mesmerizing experience of spending a night at the very top of Europe.”
Fans of the channel took to the YouTube comment section to share their thoughts, with one user writing: “The fact that people built this over a 100 years ago is simply insane for me to think about. Truly breathtaking.”
A second said: “Keep doing what you guys are doing. It's amazing how much you can inspire me and others to explore this beautiful world that we have.”
And a third added: “Thank you for the magic you bring to the world. I often think of you when I am about to step out of my safe little bubble, and I am reminded to ‘Seek Discomfort’.”
