A YouTuber has visited the “most high-tech grocery store” and documented how he encountered a huge problem after leaving.
Harrison Webb uploaded the video onto his YouTube channel, @HarrisonWebb97, where he shopped in the futuristic supermarket.
The Amazon Fresh store in Wembley, London, is a high-tech shop that has one particular difference from other supermarkets.
Comparing the shop to more traditional grocery stores, Webb said in his video: “The whole point of this grocery store is it's supposed to save time so let's give it a go.”

The shop doesn’t have any tills and you don’t need to go up to a counter to pay for things.
Instead everything you take out of the place is charged to your Amazon account.
Picking up an item to get a closer look, Webb added: “I've just realized I've picked this up. Does it think I've bought them?”
Webb seemed pretty impressed with the experience he had in the shop compared with traditional supermarkets.

However, one problem arose after the YouTuber left the high-tech shop.
Talking to the camera, he revealed that he had “refreshed my Amazon, I still haven't been charged”,
He then discovered that the card linked to his Amazon account had been expired for the last three years.

Webb joked: “I think I just figured out a glitch on how to get free Amazon Fresh Food, bro I feel bad so we're going to be honest about it.”
Viewers took to the YouTube comment section to share their thoughts, with one user writing: “Omg the difference is so noticeable amazon was calm and relaxed and the other one was like BANG overwhelm vibes.”
A second said: “This was so interesting to watch. I haven’t seen any Amazon Fresh shops in Ireland yet so I wonder if they’ll come here eventually.

“The crowds and queue in Sainsbury’s is exactly why I use the scan as you shop feature in Tesco or SuperValu in the quieter evenings to avoid that feeling at all costs. I could feel your uncomfort through the screen.”
A third added: “This video was so adorable, Amazon Fresh has become second nature to our community now to the point where we avoid going to other supermarkets, I had the exact same reaction as you when I first started going, it's nice to see other people finding the experience so bizarre but great.”
And one user had a creepy claim, saying: “It was discovered that the AI they use is nothing but a bunch of people in India reviewing the footage of you shopping.”
