Elon Musk's latest appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience has allowed him to break his silence on the Biden administration's discrimination lawsuit against SpaceX, which was recently dropped by the Department of Justice.
Following hints that his now sixth appearance on Joe Rogan's massive podcast would be 'spicy tamale', Elon Musk has further asserted his belief that Joe Biden and his administration was 'against' him and his companies, using a lawsuit as 'proof' of this.
The lawsuit, initially filed in 2023, accused Musk's aerospace company SpaceX of violating federal law by requiring job applicants to be either a US citizen or permanent resident within America - which they claim was discriminatory against refugees and asylum seekers.

Just last month saw this particular lawsuit dropped after the Department of Justice filed an unopposed motion to lift a stay on the case, as reported by the New York Post, and Musk has now taken the opportunity to weigh in on it himself:
"People say like 'Elon's making it up, the Biden administration wasn't against SpaceX', I'm like, bro the Department of Justice had a massive lawsuit against SpaceX for not hiring asylum seekers, even though it is illegal for us to hire anyone that isn't a permanent resident," Musk claimed on Rogan's show.
Musk points to a law that states that anyone hired by a rocket company, which is an 'advanced weapons technology', must be a permanent resident, adding that is "both legal and illegal to hire asylum seekers."

He then links this lawsuit to his own claims that the Biden administration had it out to get him, remarking:
"It's not my imagination, why would they launch such a massive lawsuit against SpaceX? They're extremely antagonistic."
This position was echoed at the time the lawsuit was brought to SpaceX, with Musk remarking that "this is yet another case of weaponization of the DOJ for political purposes."

On top of this, he has accused the Biden administration of purposefully leaving stranded astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams on the International Space Station due to their 'grudge' against SpaceX, who are supplying the rocket that would allow them to return home.
This is not the case, as holdups are due to technical issues with the Crew-10 spaceship, indicated by the fact that they still haven't returned home despite President Trump's urge to 'go get' the pair.
Some have alleged that Musk himself is 'weaponizing' his position of power within the current Trump administration to favor companies like SpaceX, particularly in reference to rumors that Starlink is receiving a $2.4 billion air traffic control contract initially given to Verizon, alongside the removal of an FAA fine against SpaceX that was reviewed by DOGE officials within the administration.
