An alleged grooming victim of Ava Kris Tyson has released a surprising new statement after defending the former MrBeast collaborator.
Last week, influencer Tyson, 28, was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor when they were 13 and she was 20.
The claim was initially shared in a YouTube video alongside alleged evidence of interactions conducted via Snapchat.

Tyson herself has since ‘apologized’ for her ‘past behavior’ and comments’ but vehemently denied all accusations of grooming.
Popular YouTuber MrBeast - real name James ‘Jimmy’ Donaldson - later stated that he was ‘aware’ of the allegations regarding Tyson and that he was ‘disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts’.
Moreover, he announced he’d removed his long-term friend and channel collaborator from the company and that he does not ‘condone or support’ the alleged actions.

In the wake of the complaints, the alleged victim, known online as LavaGS, has previously denied any wrongdoing on Tyson’s behalf - a stance which has since changed.
On July 22, he wrote on X: “Kris did nothing wrong. What’s actually disgusting is you guys twisting things and making me a victim.”
In another post, shared to the micro-blogging platform, the 20-year-old typed: “Can you guys help me counter all these lies? Kris’ messages to me were sent in public discord servers/groups but everyone is framing it as if it was 1 on 1. Kris literally did nothing wrong.”
However, the social media user has released a new statement after reviewing previous messages.

Last Friday (26 July), LavaGS wrote: “Based on the recent screenshots and messages I would like to say a statement about the ‘Discord’.
“This was 5 or 6 years ago and I thought I had a good memory of situation but I was wrong. After reading the chat logs, this stuff was inappropriate and wrong.”
“I spoke based on my memory of the situation and I still do not remember these conversations but they definitely happened.”

He continued to say that the conversations ‘should not have happened with people at the age I was at the time’ and that he ‘strong condemns them’.
“I still believe I am not a grooming victim but these conversations should not have happened with me and any other minor in this discord.
“I was a minor in this situation and not the adult influencer who shouldn’t have allowed this to happen, I did not see this wrong at the time,” he added.
LavaGS has also praised MrBeast after he announced he would be employing third-party investigators and for taking the situation seriously.

“I commend @MrBeast for taking this situation seriously and hiring a 3rd party investigator while also taking the appropriate actions of cutting ties with Ava,” he typed on July 25.
“While the allegations involving my name aren’t true, I feel there is still a lot of other allegations that deserve to investigated thoroughly.”
