Ava Kris Tyson has taken a step away from MrBeast's channel and responded to allegations that she'd groomed a minor.

Last month, a video was shared on YouTube that accused Tyson of grooming.

The video claimed that interactions began with the creator when the fan was 13 years old and Tyson was 20.

Their correspondence lasted several years and allegedly included a number of inappropriate conversations.

As reported by Rolling Stone, one piece of 'evidence' was a Snapshot conversation in which Tyson allegedly messaged the minor a picture of her face alongside the text 'Cumming for America.'

Messages openly broadcast on social media also came to light.

Tyson has since taken to Twitter to apologize for 'any of [her] past behavior or comments if it hurt of offended anyone,' but insists that she 'never groomed anyone.'

Her statement reads: "The person who gets brought up in these accusations @LavaGS has vocally supported that they are false.

"Having said that, I humbly apologise to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, past actions, and to those who may feel betrayed by how I used to act online. To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen.

"In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself."

She then shared that she'd be permanently leaving her role at MrBeast's channel.

"Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health," she continued.

"[...] I don't want these accusations to impact the hundreds of people who work at MrBeast, which is why I have stepped away."

LavaGS has also taken to Twitter to respond to the allegations made against Tyson, stating that they are 'not a victim.'

They wrote: "And I am not backpedaling any statements i have already made. Everything I have stated is still very true. Nothing bad happened between me and Kris, people are creating lies around my name."

"[...] Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of. Can you do me a favor and comment on these videos and tell them to stop spreading lies.

"This situation takes away from children who are actively being exploited everyday online. I am not a victim of anything being claimed in these videos or at all."

The LADbible Group has reached out to Ava Kris Tyson, MrBeast and LavaGS for comment.
