Mukbang star sparks concern amongst viewers who claim her content is 'out of control'

Mukbang star sparks concern amongst viewers who claim her content is 'out of control'

The TikToker sometimes posts several eating videos per day

Mukbang star who goes by the handle @jellybean.sweets on TikTok has sparked concern recently over her 'extreme eating' after she ditched dancing videos on her account with 1.2 million followers.

Earlier this year, extreme eater Pan Xiaoting tragically died during one of her livestreams due to a reported burst stomach, prompting viewers to reflect on this kind of content.

Jellybean, whose real name has not been revealed, initially started using TikTok to share her dancing videos.

However, she gained popularity after posting mukbang videos showcasing large quantities of fast food from places such as Taco Bell, McDonald's and Dominos.

The content which seems to be sparking most concern sees Jellybean put a time limit on her eating.

One video in particular titled 'Full Tacobell mukbang all under 4 minutes!!!' shows the TikToker eat a large burrito in less than 4 minutes, leaving people worried. One comment with 87k likes reads: "didn't we learn our lesson from nikocado".

Many comments are comparing Jellybean to NikocadoAvocado, a fellow mukbang star who experienced an extreme transformation from a vegan vlogger to extreme eater on YouTube, documenting significant weight gain.

Nikocado has talked about how his large mukbangs have affected his health and hasn't posted one of his usual videos in six months.

Jellybean's last dance videos were posted in January and received a slew of comments on how different she appears now.

Others however were supportive of Jellybean, commenting words of encouragement on her dance videos.

One fan wrote: "u always slay these girl"

A second commented: "I LOVE this. more content like this? 🫶🫶"

Fast forward to today and a video posted just one week ago titled 'Tacobell mukbang, 2 burritos all under 4 minutes!!!' has already racked up over 15 million views and sparked a lot of debate.

The video shows Jellybean eating two large burritos dripping in sauce in just four minutes.

One comment on the video reads: "it really does feel like watching nikocado avocado all over again lol"

Another expressed their concern saying Jellybean's mukbangs were 'out of control'.

Some viewers have speculated that Jellybean is doing these shocking mukbangs simply because it seems to be getting her significant views, with one pointing out that she'd previously posted a video complaining about the TikTok algorithm not pushing her videos to people anymore.

Fans have also been calling for Jellybean to take more time with her food, requesting slower, more chatty videos of her meals as an alternative.
