If you've ever dreamt of dining on gourmet cuisine in space, your dream is about to come true.

'With our unique spaceflights, we are enabling what can be this completely life-changing moment for people - a profound shift in the way we humans view the world and our place within it,' Poynter said.
A select few lucky (and wealthy) people will enjoy a meal above 99% of Earth's atmosphere throughout a six-hour high-tech space balloon trip.
The website states: 'Over six unforgettable hours, you will ascend to the edge of space and join the lucky few—only about 600—who have looked down at our home from above.

'You'll have two hours to view the curve of the Earth, the total blackness of space, and the thin blue line of our atmosphere—the quintessential astronaut experience.'
The space tourism company has joined hands with Michelin-starred Danish chef Rasmus Munk who will prepare the cuisine for the six visitors lifted 100,000 feet (30 kilometres) above sea level.
The space menu hasn't been devised just yet, however guests can feel free to take full advantage of the cocktail bar and onboard snacks whilst they wait.
The overall dining experience is set in a space balloon known as ‘Spaceship Neptune’ which includes a lounge-like interior, reclining seats like that of a Rolls-Royce, a bathroom and Wi-Fi connection, so the event can be live-streamed just to make friends jealous back on Earth.

Set to debut its trip next year, the ticket price of the experience will set you back $495,000.
SpaceVIP founder Roman Chiporukha explained: 'This is the first in a series of expeditions in partnership with leading artists designed to harness the power of space travel to elevate human consciousness and to promote universal space literacy.'
Munk is currently the chef of Danish restaurant Alchemist, which ranked fifth in the World's Best 50 Restaurants guide for 2023.

Hoping that the initial price doesn't scare future people away, Munk said: 'We're aware that it's an expensive first journey. But this is after all the first launch with these food experiences on board.'
