A man is sailing alone across the Pacific Ocean and has people terrified after revealing where he is on Google Maps.
Luke goes by the name of Sailing Songbird on his TikTok page and is venturing out into the ocean by himself on his 27ft sailboat.
Since transforming his life from middle school music teacher to sailor, the keen traveler has been documenting his journey through the video sharing app.

In one video, he demonstrated what it’s like to sleep on his small boat, which looks pretty difficult as he shows himself being thrown around his bed while the boat rocks from side to side.
But recently, he set his viewers into panic mode after showing them where he was on Google Maps.
In a video, Luke said: ““I’m stuck here in the doldrums. There is no wind.”

Paddle-boarding for exercise, the brave TikToker told the camera how ‘disorientating’ it is to see ‘absolutely nothing on the horizon’.
This is due to the fact that he is ‘about as far away from land as you can be on the planet’.
Sharing his location on Google Maps, people could see that he was right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, ‘over 1,000 miles away from any piece of land’.

This sent people’s anxiety into overdrive, with one horrified user commenting on his video: “My thalassophobia could neverrrr.”
Thalassophobia is the persistent and intense fear of deep water, like the ocean, lakes or other large bodies of water.
People with this phobia either avoid these types of bodies of water or suffer overwhelming anxiety.
Luke’s position would be just about as scary as you could get as the deepest place on Earth is located in the Pacific Ocean.

Known as Challenger Deep, it reaches a depth of more than 36,000 ft.
Another shocked viewer said: “Nothing is creepier than an open body of water. I can’t.”
Meanwhile, others were amazed by Luke's phone signal.

“Man’s uploading from the Pacific Ocean, and I’m losing network in my bathroom,” one wrote.
While another joked: “Damn the pacific got Wi-Fi?”
With so many people left horrified over Luke's venture, it begs the question - why does he do it?
Well, he’s revealed all, explaining why he decided to set sail in the first place.
Back in March, Luke explained: "Last year I was a middle school music teacher and had the dream of sailing around the world.
"So, I quit my job and sold what little I had, bought this Vancouver 27 and spent seven months in the yard fixing it up.
"Last October, I pushed off from Seattle and sailed all the way down to Mexico."
Also, it turns out that Luke has a dish on his boat so he can pick up a phone signal while roaming the ocean, which is pretty cool.
