As the clock ticks down on 2024, it's wild to think it'll be 2025 in just a couple of months. They say that time flies when you're having fun, but it also flies when you're looking toward the end of days.
You might've heard of the blind mystic known as Baba Vanga, and while she passed away back in 1996, people are still looking to her prophecies to see what's next.
The Bulgarian mystic has gained notoriety due to her uncanny ability to 'predict' the future, and while some might write it off as a load of nonsense, she's seemingly got some pretty major predictions right.

Baba Vanga has been dubbed the 20th Century's answer to Nostradamus, and whether you believe her or not, you've got to admit it looks like she's nailed some pretty obscure predictions.
Although Baba Vanga's predictions of World War 3 coming in 2010 haven't come to pass, some of her best-known predictions have become pretty close to reality.
The big one is predicting that 'the American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing.' Her believers suggest that this is the 9/11 terror attacks, with the 'steel birds' being the planes that hit the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001.

Elsewhere, she possibly predicted that Barack Obama would take over from George W. Bush as the 44th President of the United States.
Others think she foresaw Donald Trump's rise to power after Obama thanks to a mention of his successor's escalating conflicts between the northern and southern states.
Other big predictions include the 1986 Chernobyl disaster, 1997 death of Princess Diana, and 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
Perhaps the spookiest is that she reportedly predicted the date of her own death as August 11, 1996.

With the doomsday clock feeling closer to midnight than ever before, it'll likely come as no surprise that Baba Vanga has predicted a major European war in 2025.
Like something from a Philip K. Dick novel, scientists might be able to eliminate the use from written or verbal communication - opting for telepathy instead - in 2025.
There's an oddly specific nod to Lewis Hamilton's F1 victory, and going full E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, aliens could finally make contact with us here on Earth.

If communing with aliens wasn't enough, we'll apparently discover a new energy source which could solve issues with fossil fuels and lack of renewable energy options right now.
Finally, scientists could perfect the idea of growing human organs in a lab. We've seen some success with this in the past, but if Baba Vanga is right, some suggest we could extend human life expectancy to over 120.
There are some glum flashes of the future, but don't worry. With some claiming Baba Vanga has made predictions up until the year 5079, it doesn't sound like the world is ending just yet.
