A woman bought a $1,000 MacBook from Walmart and was in total shock when she discovered what was inside the box.
Ordering the laptop online, the woman, whose name is Ashonte, revealed that she didn’t get what she was expecting when the package arrived at her home.
Taking to her TikTok page, @ashontexo, to share her experience, the woman explained how she was shocked when she opened the parcel after receiving it from FedEx.

Talking to the camera, she said: “Put a finger down if you order a one thousand dollar MacBook from Walmart online that was supposed to be delivered April 22nd.

“Not only was it delivered, you open the package and there's no MacBook inside.”
Rushing back outside to tell FedEx, Ashonte recalled being advised to contact the shipper.
She went on to say: “You speak to Walmart, a customer service representative tells you that she knows for a fact the MacBook was inside the box like she has a camera in my house or like she was there opening with me.”

She continued: “You call your bank and your bank tells you that the only thing they can do is turn off your card and give you a new card.”
Ashonte went on to add: “Can some lawyers get in the comments and tell me what my rights are as a customer and what I can do to make sure that I am not suffering, paying $1,000 for something that I did not receive.”
She claimed that FedEx has evidence that the parcel wasn’t signed for and showed viewers a screenshot of a supposed signature, which is just a horizontal line.

She also said that FedEx agreed that the box had been tampered with but reportedly told her that it could not take responsibility for the item, and she said that Walmart had also told her the same.
The video has gained over 1.3 million views, with many people commenting on the situation.
In the comment section, one user said: “This is why I don't trust ordering expensive things online unless I'm picking it up.”

Another person offered some advice, saying: “You have the box for the MacBook with the serial number so contact MacBook, let them know it was stolen, they can track it and get a signal from it when turned on and they can shut it down so it can not.”
A third added: “Charge back with your bank or credit card company.”
And a fourth joked: “Is this the real meaning of MacBook Air?”
