He played the scammer at their own game.

An expert hacker has tracked down scammers who trick people into thinking they’re talking to an Amazon support team.

YouTuber NanoBaiter, has dedicated his channel to finding and exposing fraudsters who steal money from people by pretending to be customer service representatives.

Posting their faces onto his channel, he hopes to stop more innocent people from people taken advantage of and has received praise from viewers for his work to catch these criminals.

In one video, he hacked into the scammers’ webcams and showed them that he knew exactly who they are, leaving one woman speechless.

In the clip, NanoBaiter said: “First I'm going to hack into their computers take a little peek into their office and then give them a little scare.

“We were able to trace the exact location of these scammers down to their city and their street name.”

The hacker then went on to speak directly with a scammer, watching from the webcam as the fraudster sat at his office desk, completely unaware that he had been caught.

In the video, NanoBaiter can be heard saying to the man: “Hello sir, do you recognize this office? Do you recognize this place right there? This office right here where are you sitting right now.”

Showing the man his own office, the scammer quickly hangs up the call and can be seen seconds later with his head in his hands.

Another scammer is a woman who takes the call from home, where NanoBaiter confronts her over the phone with her real name, saying: “Why are you scamming people? I know where you are because I’m looking at you right now. You have a headset, you have a blue shirt on, you have pink walls. Don’t be silent. I know you’re scamming people.”

The woman was left completely speechless and she was quick to get off the phone when she realized her identity had been uncovered.

NanoBaiter has received praise from his viewers for the work he does. In the YouTube comment section, one user wrote: “I’m glad that you didn’t blur their faces. These people deserve to be exposed.”

Another said: “Cheating innocent people by stealing their hard earned money is one of the worst things you can ever do. I’m proud of you, you exposed these scammers. They deserve to lose everything they have.”

A third commented: “They need to be prosecuted. I work with older people who have been scammed and the effect on them is awful. How could anyone do this?”

And a fourth added: “Grateful for all your hard work exposing scammers saving people from becoming victims - with hope, your hard work will create a solid barrier of logistical terror necessary to dissuade future scammers.”
