Elon Musk's latest publicity stunt has taken place in U.S. President Donald Trump's recent cabinet meeting, as the Department of Government Efficiency head donned a new MAGA-style hat with a 'big message' emblazoned across the front.
Undeniably one of the most recognizable items of clothing in the last 10 years is, for better or worse, Donald Trump's bright red 'Make America Great Again' (MAGA) baseball cap.
The hat has become a calling card for far right Americans across the country, and Elon Musk in particular has sported a number of different variants since he began joining Trump on stage during the election campaign trail last year.

He's been seen in black ones with both bold and stylized fonts, a gold option, and even a comedically oversized number while inside the Oval Office.
The latest version though is the first to break from the classic 'MAGA' message, making a remarkable statement that's hard to miss, especially as he was the only one in the meeting sporting a hat of any kind, as reported by the Metro.
'Trump Was Right About Everything' reads Musk's bright red cap, with 'TRUMP' across the back and '45-47' stitched in white along the side, in reference to Trump's terms as the 45th and now 47th president of the United States.

It certainly appeared to earn the approval of President Trump too, as he praised Musk's efforts so far during his second term.
"Elon's a patriot," Trump remarked during the meeting, adding that "we want to thank you very much for doing the job you're doing, thank you very much."
In response, Musk outlined that he's "just trying to do the right thing for the American taxpayer," adding additional thanks to his team at the Department of Government Efficiency, who "came here to earn peanuts and get death threats" instead of earning 'millions of dollars' every year at a private corporation.

Musk's comments and Trump's praise earned an applause from members of the cabinet, which is especially relevant following previous indications of the limits of Musk and DOGE's power in relation to key cabinet leaders.
This warm reception doesn't appear to be consistent with the thoughts of some Americans outside of the cabinet though, as there have been a number of instances of violence, gunshots, and even 'incendiary devices' at Tesla dealerships over the past couple of months.
Many are targeting Tesla as a retaliation against Musk, who is the car company's CEO, and protests have continued despite efforts from the president to classify these acts against Musk as domestic terrorism.
