Person receives written warning from ChatGPT after they were repeatedly 'sexting' the chatbot

The person was warned that if they continued to sext with the bot then they could lose access to ChatGPT altogether

Someone has received a written warning from ChatGPT after they were repeatedly 'sexting' with the chatbot.

ChatGPT has been making headlines ever since it was first released in November 2022.

Since then, people have been inputting things into the AI chat to help spark creativity, with some even using it to organize their holiday plans.

One man held an interesting conversation with the chatbot where he went as far as to try to convince it of its consciousness.

However, it seems that another individual has taken things a step too far, by sexting the bot.

In a post uploaded to Reddit, the original poster said: “Been sexting with ChatGPT since the beginning and continuously improving my jailbreaking skills. Sometimes my inputs are red or orange flagged but never got any trouble before.

“However, today, the second after one of my inputs was orange flagged, I received an email threatening to terminate my services. Has anyone received similar emails?”

With the post, the commenter included a photo of the email they were sent from OpenAI.

The email read: “We are reaching out to you as a user of OpenAI’s ChatGPT because some of the requests associated with the email [redacted] have been flagged by our systems to be in violation of our policies.

“Please ensure you are using ChatGPT in accordance with our terms of use and our usage guidelines, as your access may be terminated if we detect further issues with your usage.”

People took to the comment section of the thread to share their thoughts about the situation.

One user wrote: “I love how even OpenAI were like ‘nah bro, we are pulling the plug on this guy.”

Another said: “Not even ChatGPT can exist without sexual harassment.”

A third commented: “The worst thing is they don’t even realize how sad that is.”

And a fourth added: “Sexting with an AI is undeniably sad, but also, like... I don't really see the problem? It's not like it's hurting anyone. In fact, it may very well actually prevent some real humans from being targeted with sexual harassment instead, or at least decrease the frequency of it happening.

“Idk, this just kinda seems like one of those situations where large tech and online payment companies have decided to ban something just because they don't want to be associated with it lest it hurts their reputation with the more puritanical members of the populace, rather than them actually combatting something that is seriously harmful.”
