PlayStation 5 users are just discovering a simple welcome screen hack that you’ll want to try out immediately.
One user has taken to social media to share a handy trick that PlayStation 5 fans can implement.
On Reddit, the gamer explained how to get the three widgets that are usually locked on the left side of the welcome screen to be moved to the bottom.

In a post, they wrote: “For whatever reason, they only allow you to have a minimum of three (WIDGETS). To begin with, they're all locked to the left side, like Accessibility, Online Friends, and Messages here.. unless you do what I did to get all three of them on the bottom
“(Of course) With minimized Widgets, by enabling a total of nine, including the three that you want and six random ones. Then what you can do is move, with Square, the three that you want on the bottom of each of the three rows (being Messages, Media Gallery, and Wishlist like I have on the video).
“Then when you're done, just disable the ones that you don't want, being News, New to PlayStation Plus, Friend Activity, Battery Level, Online Friends. Then, when you're done, all three that you want will be on the bottom.

“Apologies for bad quality and voice-over. I had to record using my phone as you can't record the Home screen, and I don't do a lot of voiceovers.”
And this isn’t the only simple trick you can do to make the most out of your gaming console.

The PlayStation 5 has the ability to automatically capture screenshots and videos whenever you unlock a trophy. While this is a nice touch, it can end up using a lot of your storage space, cluttering it with screenshots you may never look at.

Thankfully, you can turn this off. After going into the ‘Settings’ menu, find ‘Captures and Broadcasts’ and then ‘Trophies’, now you can switch off this option.
You’ll also notice a handy shortcut button for capturing different footage of your game as you play. If you ever want to change this option, by switching to a button press, rather than a button hold, you can follow the above path by selecting ‘Captures’ instead of ‘Trophies.’
Much like the above DualSense settings, you can tweak your overall game settings to ensure each new gaming experience is the same. By exploring this menu you can use global settings that will adjust each individual game to your preferences. For example, if you prefer to invert controls, or use a particular graphics setting.
You can get to this menu via ‘Settings’ > ’Saved data’ > ’Game/App settings’ > ’Game presets.’ This is a lovely touch that will hopefully save you some time with new releases.
