The world's biggest tech show, CES, is under way in Las Vegas - and rumors are swirling around what might happen.
One of the biggest whispers is around Sony - and the potential the brand might reveal its long-awaited PlayStation 5 Pro.
If the difference between the PS4 and PS4 Pro is anything to go by, the new model will have more storage, better graphics and, of course, more bragging rights for whoever owns it.

However, there might be bad news for anyone holding their breath for the PS5 Pro - according to Tom Henderson, gaming expert and owner of news site Insider Gaming.
"It seems like everyone is hyped that the PS5 Pro might be announced at CES. Personally, I'd be surprised if they were to announce a new console 9-10 months from release if that's the timeline they are still going with. So I'm more inclined to believe a late Q3 announcement," Henderson wrote in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that currently has 1K likes.

The PS5 was originally released in November 2020 - so Henderson seems to be suggesting Sony will take a bit more time to focus sales on the original model.
If the Pro is unveiled later this year, it would follow a similar timetable to before: the PS4 was released in November 2013, with the Pro following in September 2016.
That being said, Reddit rumors suggest gaming studios have already got their hands on PS5 dev kits - which help developers pull together a game for that console - so maybe the Pro isn't too far off.
For now, we'll just have to focus on what has actually been announced at CES.

One of the most exciting things to come out so far is Samsung's transparent MicroLED screen - what it's calling a world first.
It's pretty incredible to look at, with a fully transparent, frameless screen showing off a vibrant display of colors. No word on pricing or when it will be available, but it certainly looks like the future of TV - perhaps this is the beginning of the end for unsightly devices hung on the wall.
