The 'Florida Joker' is demanding $2 million dollars from Rockstar Games, alleging that they used his appearance in the recent GTA VI trailer.
Much hype surrounded the GTA VI release since it dropped almost a week ago, but other people weren't so happy with it.
One man - known as the 'Florida Joker' or 'Miami Joker' - is expressing his frustration after noticing a striking resemblance between himself and a character in Rockstar's newly released trailer.

The man - known more formerly as Lawrence Sullivan - announced on his TikTok last week that he bares very similar resemblance to the character displayed in GTA 6's trailer. He compared a photo of himself in an orange jumpsuit, with the GTA character displaying purple hair and various facial tattoos.
In another video, Sullivan expanded on his claims, emphasising that the GTA VI character was 'inspired' by him, saying: 'Just look me up, Florida Joker, Miami Joker, you know what I'm talking about. GTA, we got to talk.'
As discussion among viewers began to unfold online, the Florida Joker responded with more similarities, trying to prove the denials wrong.

Whilst pointing to a side by side image of his mugshot and a screen shot of the character, he said: For everyone saying I'm hallucinating and I'm not the joker from GTA VI. That's me. That's the person that they got inspiration from. You see that? That? That's me.'
The 29-year old man - who was arrested for waving a gun around in public - is demanding that Rockstar Games pays $2 million dollars to him if they choose not to 'talk' with him.
The opinions are split between viewers in response to the TikTok videos.

One viewer agreed with Sullivan, commenting: 'You should get something from them, they took your image for their own convenience, you can either request them to remove your image from the game/else.'
Whilst other Reddit users are saying that the Florida man should be 'honoured' with the resemblance. One viewer said: 'bruh, i would pay Rockstar to let them make a parody of me.'
Another disagreed with the exact alikeness between the two, stating: 'The tattoos aren't even the same. Style wise sure? But it's a different dudes face with different tattoos. Low IQ individual.'
Some viewers believe think Rockstar will respond to the allegations by 'parodying him even harder in the game.'

This isn't the first time Rockstar has been accused of basing characters off real life people. Back in 2016, Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against Rockstar Games for using her as a basis for the 'beachgoer selfie taker' in the GTA V cover art and loading screen.
Despite her lawyers fighting the her case of using her 'signature peace sign' and declaring similarities in the character's clothes and voice, Lohan lost the case.
