When most of us try to take a picture of amazing views like a sunset or the starry night sky, our tech devices seldom do the view justice.
At least this is in the case of smartphones. Even with all the adjustments we make to the camera and light settings, the pictures always seem to lack in quality.
However, Google Pixel owners have set a whole level of phone photography as they show off their night sky photos - and the results are stunning!

And it doesn't take someone with an artistic eye to appreciate the shots - just take a look at that!
Reddit has been the place where the Google users have been sharing their epic shots, especially in the subreddit r/Pixel_Astrophoto.
One user gathered their astrophotos into a collection they captioned: 'My astrophotography pictures'.

The Reddit user later confirmed that the photos were taken on their Google Pixel 7 Pro in Astrophotography mode.
When asked where the amazing shots were captured, the original poster revealed them to be the Canadian Skies of Northern Alberta.
'Oh dude, that's impressive!', 'Amazing! Great pictures!' and 'Now this is insane' - are just a few of the responses from the amazed Reddit community.
Fortunately, the shots don't require much effort on the photographer's side either.

According to Android Police, the Astrophotography mode simplifies the entire process so you don't have to waste time messing with the ISO and exposure settings.
Instead, the camera snaps multiple 16-second shots and stacks them to compensate for the 'limited light a small smartphone sensor can capture.'
In doing so, it removes any 'unwanted byproducts' like noise from these long exposure shots by using AI. So, the overall image stands out a lot better and looks more professional.

Additionally, unlike most cameras and other smartphones that require hours of post-production editing to perfect the shots, Google Pixel eliminates this with handy new feature. Unless you wanted to take your photography up a notch.
Astrophotographer Nicholas Wilson said in response to the amazing photos people have been collecting: 'Anybody can take these photos. If you have a desire to go take astrophotos and you have patience, you can get a great shot.'
Wilson, who worked with the Google Pixel team to develop some of its pro-level features, added: 'You don’t need to mess with apertures like you do on a traditional camera. Google Pixel takes all the hard work out of the process.'
