It seems that Apple just keeps popping them out, and while it might seem a little early in the year for the typical announcement of the next iPhone, Apple's due date might’ve been pushed forward for a surprise sibling. Tim Cook has confirmed that the tech company is 'with child', as an upcoming Apple reveal will show off the newest member of the family.
Affectionately known as 'Tim Apple' by President Donald Trump, Cook has been the company CEO since 2011 and had some pretty big shoes to fill in the aftermath of Steve Jobs' tragic passing.
Still, Cook has helped Apple grow to become one of the biggest companies in the world - reporting a jaw-dropping revenue of $391.04 billion in 2024.

Despite some complaints about Apple Intelligence and the typical grumbles that every new iOS update zaps our phone battery, Apple is looking ahead at an even bigger 2025. Hoping to bolster its earnings, Cook has promised a new product will be revealed on February 19.
Set to some cheerful background music, Cook's simple post said: "Get ready to meet the newest member of the family. Wednesday, February 19. #AppleLaunch."

Even though it seems like he's given nothing away, eagle-eyed tech fans are diving into theories about what the post might suggest.
Due to a circular ring around the Apple logo, some think it could be hinting at the rumored HomePod mini 2 or a new AirTag (which is also round).
However, many think it doesn't take a genius to figure out what's coming on February 19.

Bloomberg's Tim Gurman came straight out and said it, claiming that Cook's cryptic announcement is gearing up for the long-awaited reveal of the fourth-generation iPhone SE.
The silver cutout and backplate have many thinking of the original iPhone SE that launched back in 2016, but then again, we could be overthinking things.
Although the iPhone SE is typically thought of as a 'budget' version of the iPhone, various leaks have hinted at a more advanced model that could include dual cameras, Face ID, and a 6.1-inch OLED screen.
We recently reported that the fourth-generation iPhone SE could be on sale in a matter of days, but following Cook's announcement, it looks increasingly likely we'll have to wait a little longer.

Importantly, it's key to note that we aren't getting a full Apple showcase, meaning this looks like the launch of a singular product instead of a new line. You're almost definitely going to have to wait until September for an official glimpse of the iPhone 17.
Launching a new iPhone SE sooner rather than later can only be good for business, especially as the European Union mandate for USB-C charging ports means no SE models are currently on sale in the EA. Thankfully, there isn't long to wait until we know what's on the way.
