With the iPhone 16's launch right around the corner, Apple fans have been left with rumours and their own theories about what's to be offered.
Alongside that, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman suggested that Apple might also release two versions of its fourth-generation AirPods wireless earbuds around the same time.
Tech influencer Marques Brownlee stirred up excitement among Apple lovers when he shared the upcoming Apple event on September 9th on X (formerly Twitter). The teaser showed a glowing Apple logo surrounded by neon blue, pink and orange colours.

The post reads: 'It's Glowtime. Please join us in person for a special Apple Event at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. September 9, 2024. 10:100 a.m. PT'.
Based on this poster alone, some fans are guessing that major strides in AI are to be apparent in the new tech.
'Glowtime hints at a major AI leap. Expect Siri to move from assistant to intelligence. This could change everything,' one X user said.

'I assume the "Glowtime" indicates that the event is gonna be AI heavy. Saying so cuz the Glowtime colors are clearly resembling the iOS 18 Siri Animation,' another replied.
One confident Apple fan claimed: "I have a feeling Apple is going to tell us that this is the best iPhone they’ve ever made".
AI is widely expected to be implemented in the new Apple launches. Earlier this year, CEO Tim Cook announced that the tech giant would be diving deeper into AI with its own version called ‘Apple Intelligence.'

He said: "AI has to understand you and be grounded in your personal context like your routine, your relationships, your communications and more. It’s beyond artificial intelligence. It’s personal intelligence: Introducing… Apple Intelligence."

According to Cook, the new iOS 18 software will be able to enhance writing skills, summarising texts and creating custom emojis.
With that said, Siri is also set for a major upgrade in iOS 18, allowing users to open apps with a single word or even book an Uber through the user's voice commands.
According to Bloomberg, Apple’s planned upgrades for Siri will deeply integrate with core functions and installed apps - a huge leap in Apple's innovation.
'We’re thrilled to introduce a new chapter in Apple innovation. Apple Intelligence will transform what users can do with our products - and what our products can do for our users,' continued Cook.
