An Apple user has revealed four life changing features that they have added to their iPhone 15.

The savvy user has also said these features are something that Apple ‘should have’ all along.

And it turns out, it might not be necessary to update to an iPhone 16 to get them.

Taking to Reddit, the person shared online how they had altered their smartphone.

In a post, they said: “Just gave my regular 15 the features Apple should have given, and more.

“I gave my iPhone 15 these features: Camera control UI (iPhone 16s only).

“Apple Intelligence and Siri with ChatGPT integration (only available to 15 Pro’s and up).

“Action Button features such as translating with the use of action button (15 Pro’s and up). “Always on display (14 Pro, 15 Pro and 16 Pro).

“Thanks to the developers of Nugget, these work only up to 18.2 dev. beta 2, thanks to Apple making a ‘fix’ in the next update…”

Other people were shocked to see the post from the iPhone user claiming to have put these new updates onto their older model.

And not everyone was convinced that it was a good idea.

Taking to the comment section, one user wrote: “This all seems like it’s an update away from being wiped from your phone lol.”

And another said: “I’m assuming you probably can’t move past the current software you’re on?”

However, not everybody was so critical of the innovation, which the original poster said they had used a program named Nugget to achieve.

One user felt particularly strongly about the reaction, writing: “God this whole thread just shows me why I always hated the Apple community. You guys are so damn brain washed by Apple to hate anything that Apple themselves don’t put in the phone.

“The only reason that this stuff is restricted from the regular 15 is purely money. They’re trying to use AI as a selling point for the pro models and the 16 series.

“And from what I’ve seen this isn’t even a jailbreak so the limited security risks a jailbreak actually poses aren’t relevant here.”

A second person questioned: “So this proves that Apple’s comments about AI needing the most recent chips are bulls***?”

This prompted a reply from the original poster, who said: “Yep, just a more money-making strategy.”

I guess we’ll watch this space to see how their phone holds up!
