A co-founder of Apple has called out Elon Musk, brutally criticizing his so-called role in government.
Musk has taken center stage of the Trump administration since the inauguration in January.
It might seem like President Trump and his ‘first buddy’ Musk have been wielding their power for a long time now, so it’s hard to believe that it has been just over a month since Trump made his return to the Oval Office.

This is partly due to various controversies surrounding the Tesla boss since he took on the role as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
While not technically a government department, DOGE is purported to be an outside advisor to the president on federal spending.
And Musk has certainly been making cuts to the federal budget, canceling contracts and triggering mass layoffs.

Now, it seems that the SpaceX CEO has a new critic after Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak shared his thoughts at Barcelona’s Talent Arena developers fair, which runs alongside the Mobile World Congress (MWC) taking place in the Spanish city this week.
During a speech, Wozniak said: “I think that the skills required in politics are very different to those skills needed in technology companies.
“It does make sense to run a government like a business,” before adding, “I don’t see that happening in the case of Elon Musk.”
He went on to say: “When you run a business, you look for a consensus and a sharing. If half your employees feel one way and half the other way, you negotiate, you compromise.”

Wozniak shared that he believes this approach is in contrast to Musk’s style of wiping the slate clean and starting afresh, which is a strategy that the Apple co-founder has claimed is not well suited for government.
Criticisms of artificial intelligence
Tech moguls making their way into government wasn’t the only criticism Wozniak shared this week.

He also revealed his skepticism over the age of artificial intelligence, saying: “I trust the I, but not the A.”
Wozniak did admit that AI will give people ‘a lot of ideas and directions on how to proceed’, but he revealed that he is wary of the fact that AI lacks any human emotion.
While warning about the possibility for misuse with the technology, Wozniak went on to say: “AI can trick you into things.”
Talking about the rise in online subscriptions, the mogul continued: “When Apple started, it was you who would set up your computer and it was all of your own work.

“But after the internet came, now you have to subscribe, subscribe and subscribe to everything and once you have subscribed, you still do not own it.”
