Travelling with pets isn't the easiest, and if you have your own vehicle then you're in luck.
Yet if you don't then it's working out which public transport is pet friendly (and sometimes it doesn't like all pets) or choosing an Uber or taxi, and hoping it will allow you to bring your beloved creature with you.
Now dogs and cats are species that plenty of taxi drivers might grumble about before letting you in, but if you've got a more exotic animal as a pet then it might be a flat out no.
In a YouTube series, viewers watch as YouTuber Zac Alsop navigates which exotic and rare animals are taxi friendly - and which aren't.

The video, titled 'I Tested ‘Pet Friendly’ Ubers With Exotic Animals', has had over 5.7 million views since it was first uploaded in June 2022.
The series starts off with Zac being told he can't take a cab as he stands with his dog, before he starts to test out some of the more exotic animals.
The video shows a Great Dane squeeze into the back of a taxi, a skunk (which they attempt to pass off as a cat), an owl, a tarantula, a penguin and even a Caiman alligator.

Response from viewers on YouTube has been immense, with many loving how many pet lovers he meets within the London taxi community.
One person commented: "The reaction of the guy in the bookshop. Like he was legit waiting for years for someone to finally bring an owl into the shop."
Another shared: "The guy at the owl shop looked so excited when he saw the owl, so wholesome."
"The dude that thanked him for putting a Tarantula on his hands is definitely the right person for his job," said a third.

Another posted: "The Uber driver looked so happy to get to hold the spider!! He even said it made his day. I wouldn't have even been in that area if I saw that spider in real life."
"Love the people who handle the animals being all chill like 'yea, it can kill you, you wanna give it a kiss?'" said another.
"the uber driver with the tarantula was a legend ahaha," laughed another viewer.
If you're watching the video because you're trying to work out what your pet taxi options are, it might be worth checking out the terms and conditions from Uber.

The Uber website states: "You may bring one small animal such as a dog or a cat. Please note, there is no breed or size restriction and any additional pets you bring are within the individual driver-partner's discretion."
It adds: "Since you'll be bringing along a pet, Uber Pet trips will cost more than other vehicle options.
In addition, if your pet leaves waste, excessive hair, or damages the vehicle, you could be charged a cleaning fee."
