The man who tried out an ‘Uber’ for private jets has revealed what the most surprising aspect of flying ‘like a millionaire’ was.
It turns out that Uber isn’t just a taxi service by car anymore as you can now hail a private jet using an app.
And one man decided to put it to the test by catching a flight through the Airble app.
Documenting the experience for his YouTube channel, Mike - who is known online as DownieLive - gave his review, revealing that the process was ‘very simple’.

Using the app, he said: “You type in where you want to go and what dates you want to fly.
“It gives you a list of planes that are available for you on that date and you just pick the one that you want.”
He went on to explain how the app uses something called deadhead, which is basically when a pilot or crew needs to return to their home base after a flight.
Because these flights usually have empty seats, the app allows the public to book them at a ‘hugely discounted price’.

Mike revealed that he’d spent a total of $542.29 for his private jet which took him from Vancouver to Kelowna in an hour.
So, what was the most surprising part of the ‘millionaire’ experience?
According to Mike, it was the sound of the aircraft that left him the most shocked.

He said: “The main thing that surprised me about flying on this plane is the noise or the lack thereof.
“I mean normally planes are so loud and require noise canceling headphones and so, with this particular plane, when you look out the window, you don't have a huge propeller right next to you.”
The YouTuber shared that the plane is quite peaceful ‘because the propellers are behind us’.
Mike continued: “It's relatively quiet and very easy to talk with Sarah.”

He added: “It feels more like being in an SUV on a highway and less like being on a plane.”
According to the YouTuber, his ability to board the premium flight had nothing to do with his online fame, and instead was simply because he’d paid for his ticket.
Mike said: “Anyone can fly private for $500.”
The app is currently available on the App Store, however, this service is currently only available in the US and Canada, so those in the UK might have to wait to see if it expands here.
