Netflix launches clever new feature that lets you share and revisit your favorite scenes and it's easier than ever

You can download the scenes to your phone

Netflix is introducing a new feature that allows you to rewatch your favourite scenes from shows and movies over and over again with just a tap of a button.

With so much binge-worthy stuff to watch on Netflix nowadays, there's got to be a better way than nagging your friends to watch the latest episode of Love is Blind or sharing that funny clip from Friends over and over again.

In an official blog post, the streaming giant announced a new 'Moments' feature on its mobile app.

The feature just launched on the Netflix iOS app and is coming soon to Android devices.

That said, this feature is currently not available on Smart TVs or tablets but the company hopes to soon roll it out, 'offering even more ways for members to use and enjoy the feature.'

Subscribers can save the clips using a moments button at the bottom of the screen.

Scenes can be downloaded onto your phone, bookmarked to watch them later and shared with friends and family members to remind them to tune in.

The feature works through various social media apps, including Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, or users can copy the link and share it anywhere.

Netflix explained how Moments works in a post on its Tudum blog: “Let’s say you’re watching the latest season of Bridgerton on your phone and want to save the scene where Colin and Penelope share their long-awaited kiss in the carriage.

"All you have to do is tap Moments at the bottom of your screen, and it’ll automatically save to your My Netflix tab."

Netflix added that Moments can be revisited anytime on your phone and if you rewatch the episode or film, it will 'start playing right from the scene you bookmarked.'

You can share a Moment as you created it or from the My Netflix tab. Here, you can select a scene and tap to share it across all of your platforms.

The blog continued: “Whether you’re replaying the intense final showdown in Beef or a spooky twist in Wednesday, Moments lets you save and share it all.”

And don't worry about the storage limit on the app.

Netflix spokesperson Dorian Rosenburg said to The Verge: "The number of Moments you can save depends on the length of the content.

"However, there’s plenty of space to save your favourite Moments, so most members won’t need to worry about a limit when it comes to saving across multiple shows and movies."
