A YouTuber showed his earnings for a viral video he made a couple of years ago.

In 2022, George Dunnett created a video about buying and renovating a tiny, abandoned house in Scotland.

Since the video was a big hit reaching 18 million views to this day, he decided to show how much YouTube paid him for that video.

A lot of people are curious about how much money you can actually make from streaming, creating YouTube content, or even platforms like OnlyFans.

Earning money online can be just a side hustle for extra cash for some, but for others, it can perform better than a full-time job.

George took his viewers through his video analytics for his video called "I Bought an Abandoned Tiny House."

In January 2022, when the video was uploaded, George showed that the video got 52 views during those last few days of the month, making him just $0.26.

In February, the video views jumped to 189 and he earned $0.75.

March was the big break. George's video went viral with over 6.3 million views that month, earning the YouTuber a whopping $23, 223.98.

His best day was on March 26 which earned him $3,759.22 alone.

Views continued to pour in, with April bringing in $11,922.23 from 1.7 million views, and May adding another $7,000 with over 1 million views.

By July 2022, the video had racked up over 11 million views and brought George a grand total of $52,400.69.

George also showed the analytics of the follow-up video he made called: "How Much Did My Tiny House Cost?".

Whilst it didn't perform as impressively as the first, it still gained over 1 million views since published and earned him a total of $4,577.76.

Combined, both videos brought in around $57,000, or about £46,817.

The YouTuber described a lot of unexpected costs and renovations that came with the house and so, thanked his viewership for the amount of revenue he earned from it.

Viewers have praised his transparency and successful journey.

"You being honest about how you make money on YouTube is very helpful for newcomer content creators. It helps them to keep in mind what can happen and how to navigate business content choices," one user commented.

"More power to you, son. I love to see people succeed," added another.

Someone else chimed in: "That amount of money is INSANE! You should be so proud of yourself and everyone should be happy for you. Wishing you all the very best!"
